An advanced independent Opticians based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire are looking for a full or part time Dispensing Optician to join the team.

Dispensing Optician - Role

• Fully private Opticians offering a wide range of eyecare services
• Experienced Director with an exceptional reputation in the industry
• Close knit team of 4-5 people
• 50 minute appointments
• Continuous investment into advanced technology - DNEye scanner etc
• Single testing room practice
• Private dispensing room for styling consultations
• Relaxed environment with a focus on creating a unique and positive experience for each patient
• Specialist clinics - Dry eye, myopia management

• Varied role including reception, pre-screening, adjustments and frame selection
• Working 4 or 5 days a week from 9am to 5.15pm (2pm finish on a Sat)
• No Sundays or late nights
• Salary between £28,000 to £35,000 DOE

Dispensing Optician - Requirements

• Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
• Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
• Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
• Ability to learn and want to develop
• Interest in style and fashion

Qualifications and Experience:

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time: 37.5 hrs per week to include weekend working

Pay: From £22,614 per annum (plus contributory pension scheme or continuation of NHS pension). Buying and selling of annual leave and lease car schemes are options available to qualifying new employees.
