Here at Bolton Community Leisure Trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Membership Sales Advisor to join our team at Horwich Leisure Centre.
In this role you will be responsible for helping to grow the leisure gym membership, swim lesson and birthday party income. You will be dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone to ensure daily sales targets and KPI’s are hit in line with site performance.
We are very keen to find an individual who can find opportunities to offer our fantastic facilities to the local community and support the growth of the contract.
In addition, there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts and excellent development opportunities.
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.
About you
We are looking to hear from candidates that have previous experience of dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment including sales experience if possible. You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, the ability to handle cash and maintain customer records, as well as a good telephone manner and confident with using IT systems.
Lastly, you must show proactiveness and innovation within the role in addition to being self-motivated and target driven.
