What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will also engage with the business users and function groups as a technical expert to evolve and automate business processes in the next generation of PV platforms and supporting technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with IS and Business stakeholders as a liaison and provides compliant technical solutions that meet business needs and regulatory requirements for adverse event management

• Understand business partner’s operations and find opportunities to automate processes

• Overall accountability of technical implementation aspects of projects including planning, architecture, design, development, and testing to follow IS Change Control and GxP validation process

• Responsible for authoring validation artifacts such as requirements, design, and architectural specifications

• Part of project/product team, willing to jump in and do some programming/code-reviews etc. based on project/product team demands. Hands on programming (SQL/Scripts) is expected.

• Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to ensure that the applications are aligned with approved architectural and development guidelines

• Uses knowledge of technical trends to bring solutions that improve enterprise’s competitive edge

• Responsible for supporting and leading technical root cause analysis and works with vendors to resolve PV systems related issues

• Supports PV inspections

• Responsible for mentoring the product teams

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in database programming languages, data modelling, concepts, including Oracle SQL skills and PL/SQL, PostGress

• Working experience in cloud services from AWS (eg. EC2, RDS, S3, Event-Driven Architecture, etc)

• Knowledgeable of Generative AI Technologies for Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Generation Language (NLG)

• Knowledgeable about API integrations such as MuleSoft

• Experience using one or more general programming languages, including but not limited to: Java or Python

• Proficient with implementation and supporting COTS Pharmacovigilance Platforms (for example Argus) is a plus or other safety database

• Knowledgeable of Agile project methodologies and working in Product Teams by using JIRA

• Experience or shown understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), 21CFR Part 11 regulations, change control, validation

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients

• Sharp learning agility, problem solving and analytical thinking

Regional Vice President of Sales Summary 

The Delinea Regional Vice President of Sales – U.S. leads a team of Regional Sales Directors and Account Managers and supports the delivery of the full sales cycle to organizations with annual revenues of $500M and above. In this role, you’ll work with your team to identify prospects, understand their challenges, and highlight how Delinea solutions will enhance and simplify their IT security efforts.  You will work with clients directly and through our channel partners to close deals and get our award-winning product suite into the hands of IT Admins across the identified region. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about achieving sales objectives and expanding the capabilities of their team.  Through mentoring and continued enhancement of the Sales team skills, the Regional Vice President of Sales will help Delinea support development of individuals and continue the growth plans of the company. 

Working from home with limited travel (average 30-50%), this position requires an exceptional leader and people manager who will be responsible for all net new and XU-sell sales within the U.S. East Enterprise and Strategic markets. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales - Americas. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Consistently meet/exceed team pipeline and sales targets.    

• Accomplish regional sales and human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures 

• Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change. 

• Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. 

• Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan in support of national objectives. 

• Maintain and expand customer base by coaching Regional Directors and Account Executives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. 

• Recommend product enhancements/development by identifying new product opportunities and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors. 

• Define go-to market strategy for enterprise and strategic markets and establish and develop regional teams

What You’ll Bring: 

• Experience as an Enterprise or Strategic software sales executive selling to a corporate IT audience. 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 

• Exceptional leadership and people skills with proven success leading a national team. 

• Classic training in a proven sales methodology (i.e., Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, MEDDIC or similar). 

• Experience working with Channel Partners 

• Ability to conduct both executive level presentations and high-level technical presentations. 

• Experience cultivating and controlling complex sales cycles with audiences of multiple stakeholders. 

• Track record of success in coaching Account Executives in how to identify, cultivate and close five to six figure+ transactions. 

• Working knowledge of Information Security and/or Network Architecture desired. 

• Ability to work and sell in a highly collaborative teamed environment. 

• Detail oriented, relationship-building skills, and a focus on a high level of customer service 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, 

• Positive attitude and both experience and a passion for developing junior account execs. 

• Proven ability to handle, adapt, and overcome change.
