Chrisjac are pleased to be working in collaboration with our long standing clients in seeking ICSA graduates to assume the role of Corporate Secretarial Executive (Senior) in Kuala Lumpur area. Our clients are successful PLC business conglomerates in Malaysia.

In this instant, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for corporate governance and for ensuring the company complies with its obligations under the Companies Act and listing rules in Malaysia. Your new role will involve in providing board support, regulatory compliance and corporate administration.

Details of Role & Responsibility

The role is full time permanent that will be at the group's corporate head office. As Corporate Secretarial Executive, you will provide support to the Group Company Secretary and Board of Directors in carrying out corporate secretarial functions.

Assist in ensuring all secretarial functions are according to statutory compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements and Securities Commission.

Responsible to manage the company secretarial compliance work for a PLC and its group of companies.

Assist in handling corporate secretarial matters and compliance with statutory requirements.

Advise the Board of Directors on their corporate and legal responsibilities and matters of corporate governance.

Manage Board and shareholders matters such as organizing meetings, preparing and circulating board papers, reports,minutes and announcements.

To attend board meetings for the group of companies.

Requirements:Candidate profile

Candidates who aspire to fill this role must be a pro-active person with positive work attitude. At the same time, candidates must be able to demonstrate some solid strong corporate administration and professional interpersonal skills as you will be engaging with senior stakeholders.

Successful candidates must be a ICSA graduate (qualified or part qualified) with some relevant experience gained within a Co Sec functions. You must be a pro-active and have a great positive attitude to working under pressure. 

-ICSA qualified/part-qualified.

-At least 2-4 years of corporate secretarial experience, ideally in listed environment.

-Good command of English, both verbal and written.

-Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
  • Ensure Employee arrive on time.
  • Oversee daily housekeeping tasks by employee

• Inventory Management:
  • Verify and finalize stock counts conducted by employee
  • Submit a completed stock report to the checker after verification.

• Sales & Profitability:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets across all assigned outlets.
  • Set individual outlet sales targets and gross profit margins.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer retention and upsell services.

• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor outlet supervisors, technicians, and cashier/admins.
  • Motivate and coach the team to achieve individual and outlet performance goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve employee skills and productivity.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with low employee turnover.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and customer service standards.

• Operations & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow across all outlets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement cost-effective ordering procedures.

• Customer Satisfaction:
  • Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and address any concerns promptly.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by implementing effective communication and service protocols.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets across all outlets.
  • Gross profit margin for the area.
  • Customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Employee turnover rate.
