ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Director, Sales Training for Homes.com you will own the delivery and support the onboarding and ongoing training of the entire Homes.com Sales team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all sales professionals and managers have the tools, skills, and knowledge to be successful in their current roles and to develop their careers.   You will work closely with senior sales leadership to analyze the training and development needs of the sales organization and work closely with a variety of resources to design, develop, and deliver relevant, high impact programs and tools and measure their effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for training and development of new and early-tenure sales reps, including training plan development, timely completion of certification process, and on-going coaching across their first few months in the role.
• Responsible for the creation, preparation and enhancement of training outlines, agendas, presentations, and materials.
• Supervise and report on the progress of trainees during the training period.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to lead the design and ongoing development of curriculum and job aids.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate performance data to assess training effectiveness and identify new training needs.
• Coach and communicate with sales leaders to ensure ongoing support and promotion of the training curriculum.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university.
• Certification or advanced degree in learning and development or equivalent experience.
• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development and delivery.
• 8+ years of experience in a sales/sales management role, preferably in residential real estate, software as a service (SaaS) technology or financial sales.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, managing teams of individual contributors.
• Understanding of the sales process and its value to a selling organization.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.

In this vital role the Global Marketing Director is a critical role in the organization and has a significant impact in driving strategy and execution on products at all stages of the product lifecycle. For peri-launch products, including tarlatamab, the Global Marketing Director is responsible for maximizing the value of the asset within key indications, providing commercial guidance and vision, developing global launch strategies, anticipating lifecycle management opportunities to enhance the customer experience and competitive position, and optimizing the impact of marketing budgets.

Tarlatamab (AMG 757) is currently being developed for the treatment of both extensive and limited-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES- and LS-SCLC); providing commercial leadership to the development organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that this compound is developed with the future market in mind and in-parallel to late-stage indications.

This role will involve working with leaders across oncology to ensure that the insights and market learnings generated for other thoracic oncology marketed products (LUMAKRAS), other peri-launch assets (e.g., bemarituzumab) are appropriately incorporated into the commercial strategy for tarlatamab. It will also involve working closely with Amgen’s integrated brand team and brand working group selected local countries to integrate local market insights. In addition to the above responsibilities, this role will support broad strategic initiatives pertaining to the portfolio such as tumor-level patient insights, patient centric development, journeys and preferences, lifecycle management planning, and ‘global to local’ readiness plans.

This role will report to the Global Marketing Lead for tarlatamab.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with the Global Marketing Lead to gather deep insights into the customer, marketplace, competitors, and business drivers and develop a “gold standard” commercial strategy designed to optimize the future value of key indications for tarlatamab (including limited stage and extensive-stage front-line, second-line).

• Key contributor to relevant Insights and Brand teams and global marketing activities for assigned brands. Ensure that all portal decisions are supported by a robust commercial assessment including but not limited to an understanding of portfolio fit and organizational impact.

• Lead key marketing deliverables requiring cross-functional stakeholder alignment and input (e.g., Brand Planning).

• Ensure all marketing deliverables for assigned brands are on time and of expected quality in alignment with Amgen’s processes and requirements. These include contributions to Global Product Strategy, competitive insights, patient-centric deliverables, robust Target Product. Profiles, Forecasts, and strategies to enhance program value including LCM.

• Communicate commercial vision for disease-state for tarlatamab.

• Partner with launch markets for Launch Readiness Exercises (LRR).

The Director, Human Resources – Corporate Functions will be the primary HR business partner to the corporate functions (Finance/IT, Procurement, Government Relations and Public Affairs, Law, and HR) as part of the functional leadership teams and ensure the human resource strategies for these groups are aligned with business and enterprise HR strategies. The Global Marketing Director is responsible for maximizing the value of assets and developing successful global brands and franchises by providing critical commercial guidance on development stage assets, developing and implementing global launch strategies, optimizing the impact of marketing budgets, managing the lifecycle of marketed products and supporting business development’s efforts to license and acquire external assets. 

As the Global Marketing Director for early compounds in the obesity franchise, you will be responsible for providing commercial insight and guidance into compounds in the early stages of development, prior to pivotal/launch phase. This role will provide commercial leadership on PTs (Program Teams) and new assets entering product team stages. Cross portfolio assessment and strategic positioning across multiple assets will also be a key deliverable of this role. Future opportunities may include transitioning with these programs to pivotal/launch phase, and/or supporting additional disease-states. You will be responsible for ensuring that early-stage compounds are developed with the future market in mind and are designed for a high probability of commercial success. 

This role will involve working with global marketing leaders across Gen Med to ensure that the insights being generated in pre/peri/post launch products are incorporated into the commercial strategy for early development compounds. It will also involve working closely with local markets at key milestones to integrate local market insights. Sales Planning:

• Develop field alignment strategy, workload calculation, and territory mapping as needed for new brand launches, field size/roles, brand strategy, and data source optimization.
• Define Targeting and Call Planning strategies for field force prioritization based on business unit strategy, data insights/modeling, sales leadership reviews, and ongoing refinements based on field or brand insights, strategic objectives, and field size and role evolution.

THE JOB

The Director of House of Blues / Brooklyn Bowl Experience Marketing will work closely with the Vice President of Experience Marketing in building and driving end to end national marketing strategies for 10 House of Blues & 3 Brooklyn Bowl venues around the country, focusing on all experience related lines of business including restaurant, Foundation Room, and Bowling. • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic partnerships.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our capabilities and build a strong professional network.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and business development reports to senior management, highlighting progress, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development within the biopharmaceutical or CDMO industry, ideally with a focus on the US East Coast market.
• In-depth knowledge of the biotech and biopharmaceutical landscape, including an understanding of drug discovery & development processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Strong network of contacts within the biotech and biopharmaceutical community in the US East Coast Area is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and diverse teams and departments to develop client-centric solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, assess competitive landscapes, and make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events (approximately 30% travel)

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be

 $138,600 to $200,000 ;  Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
