• Promote, develop, and conclude sales of Teledyne FLIR Defense products to OEMs, end users, and integrators across the APAC region.

Job Qualifications:

For peri-launch products, including tarlatamab, the Global Marketing Director is responsible for maximizing the value of the asset within key indications, providing commercial guidance and vision, developing global launch strategies, anticipating lifecycle management opportunities to enhance the customer experience and competitive position, and optimizing the impact of marketing budgets.

Tarlatamab (AMG 757) is currently being developed for the treatment of both extensive and limited-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES- and LS-SCLC); providing commercial leadership to the development organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that this compound is developed with the future market in mind and in-parallel to late-stage indications.

This role will involve working with leaders across oncology to ensure that the insights and market learnings generated for other thoracic oncology marketed products (LUMAKRAS), other peri-launch assets (e.g., bemarituzumab) are appropriately incorporated into the commercial strategy for tarlatamab. It will also involve working closely with Amgen’s integrated brand team and brand working group selected local countries to integrate local market insights. In addition to the above responsibilities, this role will support broad strategic initiatives pertaining to the portfolio such as tumor-level patient insights, patient centric development, journeys and preferences, lifecycle management planning, and ‘global to local’ readiness plans.

This role will report to the Global Marketing Lead for tarlatamab.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with the Global Marketing Lead to gather deep insights into the customer, marketplace, competitors, and business drivers and develop a “gold standard” commercial strategy designed to optimize the future value of key indications for tarlatamab (including limited stage and extensive-stage front-line, second-line).

You will be responsible for ensuring that early-stage compounds are developed with the future market in mind and are designed for a high probability of commercial success.

• Guarantee the implementation of Quality, Environment and Safe and Safety policies in their equipment as well as the maintenance of official certifications.
• Contribute to the development of key projects of the organization, from the refle ction and exchange of opinions with other colleagues.

2. Specific part of the position

• Prepare, plan and evaluate the sales plan to entire company, in order to achieve profitable and planned growth and the objectives of the department.
• Analyse, know the market and actual competency market, defining actions to increase the market share, working and developing additional services, to improve the positioning of the company.
• Lead, plan and supervise the development of new business and the opening of new areas / fields based on the market analysis, results obtained and logistics orientations of current customers.
• Supervise compliance with the ratios (visits made, purchasing customers, deviation on objectives, etc.) identify areas to improvement and implement action plans that allow achieve maximum profitability.
• Supervise and control the necessary expenses and investments and define the incentive policy for your sales team.

The ideal candidate will have: ​

• Economic Sciences Degree, ADE or similar complemented with an MBA.
• Continuous training in sales team management and business management.
• Languages: Advanced Spanish and English level is mandatory.
• User level of the complete Office package.
• 5 years of experience in a similar position, managing a work team of similar size in a company with continued growth or similar issues.
• Full availability to travel nationally and internationally.

As the Senior Director of Business Development Biologics US East Coast, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth within the biopharmaceutical / CDMO industry. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on the partnering of Just-Evotec Biologics’ contract CMC and GMP manufacturing capabilities in the US East Coast market.  By working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to our overall business strategy and ensure the successful achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.

This position is at the center of one of the company’s focus areas for growth and you will be critical in helping identify, evaluate, and translate opportunities in the marketplace. In this role, the candidate will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development Biologics US East Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US East Coast Area, targeting biotech and biopharmaceutical companies in need of contract CMC and GMP manufacturing services for their biologic drug candidates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client organizations, including business development leads and project managers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including scientific, technical, and operations teams, to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and align with our capabilities.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development in close collaboration with the legal and finance teams, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic partnerships.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our capabilities and build a strong professional network.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and business development reports to senior management, highlighting progress, opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development within the biopharmaceutical or CDMO industry, ideally with a focus on the US East Coast market.
• In-depth knowledge of the biotech and biopharmaceutical landscape, including an understanding of drug discovery & development processes, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Strong network of contacts within the biotech and biopharmaceutical community in the US East Coast Area is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and diverse teams and departments to develop client-centric solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, assess competitive landscapes, and make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events (approximately 30% travel)

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be

 $138,600 to $200,000 ;  Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
