• Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in person.
• Form new and continue existing relationships with companies and government agencies in the customer database by visiting them in person, maintaining phone contact and addressing issues or problems when they come up.
• Maintain a strong understanding about product , features and technical specifications to answer specific customer questions.
• Create new methods or strategies to help the sales team reach monthly goals for product revenue to increase company profitability.
• Give customers in-person product demonstrations and teach them about the features and benefits of each item the company offers.
• Attend weekly sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals and obstacles.
• Become a valuable and helpful resource in all of your dealings with customers and create a friendly reputation in the industry.

Job Skills and Qualifications:-

Required:

• Experience in sales or customer service
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or another field.
• Excellent ability to communicate in writing or verbally.
• Friendly and personable with others.

Preferred:

• Proficiency with technology including basic computer operations
• Ability to meet goals, stay organized and maintain a positive attitude.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in Cyber Security industry.
• Past experience dealing with government agencies will be advantage.

• You will develop the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard strategy that ensures workload and workforce are stable and balanced and the infrastructure is in place to ensure the most cost-efficient operating environment.
• You will direct the Shipyard's Technology Transfer Program to enhance current Shipyard operations through discussions with members of the private sector and academic community who are engaged in emerging technology.
• You will review long-range workload projections through the next 10-15 years and make recommendations for the best course of action to support the projected work in terms of capital investments and human resource planning.
• You will oversee the Shipyard programming proposal for Program Objective Memorandum (POM), budget proposal for DON, and Execution Plan for Execution Year.
• You will provide technical guidance, personnel, performance and position management; identify training needs; interview/select candidates for vacancies; recommend promotions and awards; resolve disciplinary issues and administer EEO policies.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Leading projects from initiation to completion and presenting the results to senior leadership throughout the Medical Center.
• Compiling all the necessary documentation and information by organizing a project management team.
• Working closely with the Service Chief and others in implementing and evaluating policies, plans, and internal operational systems.
• Managing and coordinating all online communication tools such as internal SharePoint websites and other related informational tools, all done in consultation with communication specialists.
• Coordinating events hosted by officials, with assistance from continuing educational staff and initiatives when warranted.
• Working with various boards to coordinate regular committee meetings, ensuring all event management steps are completed.
• Performing audits and special studies to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collecting and analyzing data from a variety of sources, measuring results, and reporting findings.
• Performing the full range of personnel management and administration for an organization with varied functions and activities.
• Acting as the liaison with the human resources office concerning personnel-related matters.
• Provides orientation for new staff.
• Processing new employees by requesting necessary equipment government issues laptop, cellphone, PIV card, and assure that all program access is complete.
• Providing budget and financial management for WHP and all its programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
