About the role

We are looking to appoint a Business Manager with the skills and experience to play an integral part on the leadership team. What you'll be doing: Working with other government agencies and public sectors to identify areas for product/service standardisation across health and government related service settings (home care, schools, prisons, defence etc). Leading multiple programmes and developing relationship management regimes with NHS and public sector suppliers, ensuring maximum return on investment on commercial spend across the whole of the public sector. Owning the marketplace through development of key strategies for supplier and contract management and reviewing and negotiating draft contracts for category area. Pursuing procurement excellence through the implementation of efficient and effective procurement projects within key markets. Supporting the Senior Category Managers with the management of key areas of improvement such as review of purchasing procedures, legal updates & benchmarking. Analyse data and identify areas of cost savings and operational improvements to inform procurement plans.
