What does the Merchandise Manager do?

Under the leadership of the Store Manager, directly leads the Freight team, and all associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Merchandise Manager (MM) is responsible for executing merchandising standards throughout the store. The Downstream Senior Marketing Manager, U.S. Medical Distribution supporting Corporate Accounts, GPO, and Government channels. This role will lead the development and implementation of marketing plans for the U.S. Distribution business portfolio. Responsibilities

Manages the development and execution of a marketing plan for Cardinal Health’s U.S. Medical Distribution Acute Care channels by performing the following duties:

• Executes the tactical plan for marketing strategies and programs, both short-and long-term, to ensure the sales and margin performance goals of the business are achieved
• Leads commercial engagement with sales, customers, and industry and trade associations
• Assists in the development of pricing, product, and solution positioning strategies to optimize revenue, market share, and profitability.

The Business Development Manager (US Navy Surface Warfare) is responsible for the management and growth of Teledyne FLIR’s business with the Surface Warfare Community and related OEM customers.  The individual will target specific platform and program customers that are identified as appropriate candidates for FLIR’s solutions and technology; or are potential teaming partners.  Working with current and new Navy customers to establish requirements and mission needs that match Teledyne FLIR’s current and future product capabilities, this person will present Teledyne FLIR’s Electro-Optical, Unmanned, and Integrated Solution capabilities in an effort to secure product orders, development contracts and program business consistent with the forecast for the line of business.  This person will monitor and document market requirements and communicate these to the product management group in an effort to have current and future products better meet market needs.  He/she will provide customers with visibility to Teledyne FLIR’s product line, expertise in EO/IR and Integrated sensor systems and developmental capabilities at a variety of forums to include; personal meetings, formal briefings, social events, trade shows and seminars.

• Responsible for meeting the established bookings plan for products associated with the target customers and platforms.
• Responsible for identifying, qualifying and creating long term relationships with Defense OEM’s at every level including operators, buyers, requirements developers, program managers, logistics planners, contractors and senior leaders.

• Responsible for identifying and monitoring risks associated with customer requirements and programs.
