Outline of the role

The Retail Apprenticeship will involve working in our store as a full -time team member, helping with every aspect of creating a great customer experience and learning about how a retailer operates their business. It is a great experience working in a fast-paced and fun environment that will prepare you for even bigger challenges. Savers Sales Assistants are extremely important to us, we recognise that you could be our Supervisors of tomorrow. We will actively develop your skills and offer real career progression supported by our excellent in-house training.

Duties will include:

· Demonstrating exceptional customer service

· Understanding the business and maintaining the brand reputation

· Resolving customer queries

· Using knowledge to promote products to customers

· Highlighting promotional offers to work towards achieving sales targets

· Supporting promotion changes and stock rotation

Your training will take place in store over the 1st 12 months so, no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period you will complete a discussion around your experiences, a multiple -choice test and an observation within your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your assessor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

· You are brand new to retail

Role Responsibility

We are passionate about celebrating our customers’ life moments and are now looking for a Sales Assistant to join our very successful Card Factory family to help fulfil this.

The pace is fast, our standards are high and we’re proud of it, we lead the way after all! It can get really busy in our stores, therefore you need to be able to manage lots of customers, busy tills and juggling multiple tasks. But don’t worry, you’ll have lots of fun along the way and you’ll understand why you need to be a little bit mad to work here!

• Provide excellent customer service at all times to help each customer celebrate their life’s moments
• Process all sales politely, efficiently and accurately whilst upselling on till products
• Price and merchandise stock and products correctly
• To work with the team unloading and unpacking the deliveries
• To assist with stock takes, which may include working outside the store’s normal opening hours

Retail experience is not a necessity when beginning your Card Factory story. We look for personality and a passion for customer service above all else!
