This position assists with and supports all aspects of the marketing program: promotes products, services, programs and activities through publicity and marketing. Collects and disseminates information about squadron programs and activities. Disseminates a wide variety of marketing media including print materials, calendars, digital media and brochures. Works closely with marketing staff to support briefings such as Newcomers, FTAC and Town Halls. Completes record keeping, generates sponsorship and advertising contracts, enters team hours into payroll software; performs inventory and updates accounting systems. Conducts commercial sponsorship and commercial advertising. Compiles list of viable annual events and programs to seek commercial sponsorship. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Assists in developing and implementing marketing programs for the Services Squadron. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, assists in determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation and increase financial income to Services activities. Assists in conducting qualitative and quantitative market research. Administers surveys, collects data, tabulates responses, and assists in analyzing results. Stays informed of consumer trends and their application to the activities. Makes recommendations on program modifications and enhancements. Assists in conducting advertising campaigns. Obtains information on upcoming events, special programs and offers for activity managers. Assists in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market. Assists in planning marketing campaigns designed to enhance participation in Services activities by considering the characteristics of the target audience and the media mix necessary to reach them. Provides or arranges for photographic support for Services functions. Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for part and material handling (to include: inventoried, non-inventoried, and specialty parts; personal protective equipment, tools, chemicals, etc.) for Duke Energy Fleet Services. Overall inventory handling for designated storerooms (to include: physical organization, cleanliness, and maintenance). The position requires a working knowledge of safety, chemical, and quality control practices and applies them accordingly. The ACST is also tasked with administrative responsibilities as related to the role.   

Responsibilities and Duties

• Physical part and material handling. (Inventory organization, storage, and monitoring. Bin relocations, order picking (where applicable), courier services (by request), etc.).
• Administrative responsibilities. (Physical record maintenance, invoice processing and expense reconciliation, special request/event support, etc.).
• Overall engagement. (On/off-site meetings – internal/external, supplier/servicer observations (where applicable), committee participation (where designated), etc.).

Basic/Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, General Education Degree
• Valid Drivers License

• Warehousing knowledge
• Knowledge of computer operating systems and software suites
• Ability to meet objectives and operational standards with limited supervision
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality work within restrictive timetables

Working Conditions

• Primary work is performed in an indoor environment that may not have access to heat/air conditioning, with prolonged standing. 
• Secondary work is performed in an office environment, with prolonged sitting.
• May be exposed to distracting sounds or noise levels.
• Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs a distance of at least 25 feet
• Repeated bending and twisting is required
• Onsite Mobility Classification – Work will be performed at a company facility.

Specific Requirement

• Residency Requirement - This position has a residency requirement of living within 60 minutes of the assigned operations complex.
