Applicants must be enrolled in a College of Pharmacy with anticipated graduation of May 2027 preferably (will also consider students graduating before/after 2027).

Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, formulates, prepares, and delivers medications and pharmaceutical supplies. Exercises professional judgment in the interpretation of orders. Trained in medication reconciliation duties and pharmacy technician skills. Works with multiple medication automation systems.
Essential Functions
- Interprets physician’s orders checking for correct dose, drug, route, rate and frequency of administration.
- Reviews patient profile for allergies, duplication of drugs and drug interactions and accurately enters orders into computer under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Aseptically reconstitutes, filters, prepares and labels parenteral, sterile products, and chemotherapy, and dispenses other medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintains documentation and record keeping.
- Participates in patient care activities such as drug use monitoring, pharmacokinetics dosing service and nutritional support services.
- Provides drug information to physicians, nurses, and other members of the team in collaboration with a pharmacist.
- Participates in special projects, such as data entry or research.
- Completes all Corewell Health assigned competencies by assigned due dates.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Enrolled in accredited PharmD program
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
- LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan required
