Corporate Banking Overview:

The CB Summer Analyst program is designed for candidates between their second and third year of an undergraduate school. Job Summary

A media relations intern will work on the East media push, covering news for Southeast Michigan with the goal of elevating Corewell Health’s reputation locally, regionally and nationally. Through coaching from an APR-credentialed professional, the intern will be able to build their portfolio with both written assets and hands-on experience such as press conferences, events and other activities. They will learn the start-to-finish approach to successfully promoting a media story including story mining; interviewing SMEs; writing release/pitch/media advisory; researching and targeting reporters, outlets and producers; and many other day-to-day facets of a great media relations effort. • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva is a plus.

About the program

The Chevron Australia Downstream University Intern Program provides students in their final year of study with 12 weeks of paid employment, giving you the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading projects while acquiring practical skills relevant to your field of study.

We also provide education and training during the program to help cultivate your professional skills within a diverse, inclusive, supportive and collaborative workplace.

About the role

Eligibility/Requirements

To be eligible for the Chevron Australia Downstream University Intern Program applicants must be:

• Available for the specified duration of employment from 25 November 2024 until 21 February 2025 (Monday to Friday schedule)

About the Role

Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and develop:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Corporate Development

 In the Insurance Team, you may be involved in:

• Supporting market research to enrich our market intelligence, as well as database management on a regular basis (e.g. competitor tracking)
• Supporting company profiling as part of the initial opportunities exploration
• Conduct system UAT for upgrades or semi-automated solutions as part of the revamped ways of working within the team

In the Healthcare Team, you may be involved in:

• Mapping private equity health portfolios and conducting desktop research and market scanning during the initial opportunities exploration phase
• Supporting presentations to management team with clear and concise messaging

In the Wealth & Asset Management Team, you may be involved in:

• Support in the overall M&A process for the wealth and asset management sector including origination, assessment and execution of transactions
• Focusing on research, market scanning and tracking of M&A targets and competitor activity
• Analytical support in identifying transaction rationale and building appropriate transaction thesis for internal discussions and external negotiation

What you will need:

• Students from all background and field of study who are in your penultimate year of study
• Excellent teammate and curious learner
• Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office
