The Head of HR Business Partnering is responsible for leading the HR Business Partner function to develop effective and robust workforce plans, as well as ensuring that robust, fair and transparent employee relations processes are in place. Specific responsibilities include: To be responsible for developing policies and procedures and advising the Deputy Director of HR on changes and the implementation process. Provides HR input to all of the organisations policies and strategies To provide advice on specialist HR issues across all aspects of workforce performance, development, change programmes and employee relations To provide guidance and support to assist in the achievement of the operational and strategic objectives through the effective deployment of resources and by initiating strategic and operational procedures to accommodate these requirements Working with staff side colleagues, be responsible for updating, developing and creating workforce policies and procedures for managers and staff employed within the Trust. To ensure that implementation strategies/ training processes are utilised to introduce and embed a consistent approach across the Trust and to implement national policy and best practice Provide strong professional supervision to the HR professionals and senior managers working in the Trust ensuring that consistent, high quality, professional advice is provided in a timely manner to the Business Units and corporate teams Ensure managers across the Trust have access to a full range of HR Policies and Procedures which reflect legislation, local and national policy and are in keeping with the Trusts business objectives To assess, advise and recommend appropriate course of action across specialist HR issues Take a leading role in developing Staff Survey action plans including supporting HRBPs to develop plans at Divisional level To work with the Associate Director of Learning and Development to ensure that there is a robust training provision for all aspects of HR policies and practices To ensure appropriate systems are in place so that the Trust is compliant with CQC, NHSI/E and Department of Health requirements, demonstrating compliance through regular audit and reporting.
