Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting sales representatives or account management personnel in the prospecting, acquiring, or renewing business. Duties vary based on market and type of role supporting and may include any of the following: building relationships with customer representatives/brokers, researching and coordinating the resolution of customer issues, preparing and analyzing reports, participating/leading enrollment meetings, gathering information for RFPs, preparing or implementing new accounts or renewals, and travel to customer sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of experience in health insurance/health care field in a service/sales/marketing position involving initiative and decision-making OR 5 years of experience in health care management in a marketing service representative role OR 5 years of experience in sales/marketing or health care management/claims/provider service experience involving processing or coordination of services for health care clients.
* State Insurance License(s) or obtain State Insurance License(s) within required time frame per state regulations.
* Organizational and decision-making skills; written and verbal communications skills including telephone skills.
* Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external contacts.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for directly providing consultative sales and account management operations support across HCSC market opportunities as well as managing a staff of employees. Cultivate relationships, liaise with stakeholders and responds to pharmacy sales support requests. Responsible for collaborating an overall Pharmacy Sales and Account Management strategy and executing the strategy. Activities include client retention efforts such as client annual plan review and upsell opportunity development. Creates sales pipeline report, maintaining pharmacy sales collaterals and providing day-to-day sales operations support. Position is both an individual contributor role as well as a management role with direct reports.

* Develop strategies for effective sales and marketing of HCSC Pharmacy programs and products, including community/provider collaborative partnerships. Translate corporate strategies and goals to develop team strategies, goals/objectives and plans to support client/membership retention and growth.
* Promote membership growth and retention of group business through provision of marketing services specific to Pharmacy programs and products offered to new and existing group business, including consultants/brokers/agents. Ensure delivery of insightful and well-structured messaging that is individualized to the client’s interests and needs.
* Improve competitive market position, market share and membership retention through input on innovation and design of new or enhanced Pharmacy programs and products. Incorporate changes into the market messaging and presentation materials as market/customer themes and programs or products change. Design ongoing coaching and development opportunities for staff so they are well versed in emerging trends, Pharmacy program and product offerings and are able to speak to the value associated with those offerings.
* Ensure retention of existing business and servicing of national and other high profile accounts assigned to the team, which requires in-depth knowledge of marketing and ability to communicate with customers in order to resolve issues and answer complex questions. Resolve sensitive issues related to accounts concerning services provided, including reporting/program/product results/outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Plan’s Sales and Marketing leadership to build relationships, messaging and consultative services that promote growth of group membership and strategize with team on solutions when challenging situations are encountered for new or existing assigned clients.
* Develop and maintain a departmental playbook that defines and articulates the Pharmacy sales/marketing roles/responsibilities, processes, workflows, messaging and presentation materials with a focus on proactive readiness. Include proactive preparation and formulation of winning presentations that establish the team as thought leaders, and that engages clients and generates high satisfaction ratings from stakeholders. Ensure team members are trained on the playbook and presentations comply with required processes.
* Collaborate in market assessment and brand strategy development, including identification of customer needs and emerging trends in the industry. Monitor and recommend changes in care management story/messaging and programs/products to improve retention and growth of groups.
* Develop and monitor team specific performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvements.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Registered Pharmacist
* 8 years of managed care pharmacy experience or 8 years of consulting experience in the pharmacy benefits industry (completion of managed care residency can substitute for 2 years of experience requirements)
* Experience in sales and account management in a supervisory capacity
* Knowledge of pharmacy benefits products, services and concepts
* Analytical skills including developing reports and synthesizing data to tell a story and develop recommendations
* Written and verbal communications skills including developing presentations and presenting to external business leaders or large audiences
* Collaboration skills to work across organization on problem resolution, negotiation, consensus building, conflict management, and decision-making skills

Job Summary

**Please note: This is a hybrid role and will work in the office three days a week**

This position is responsible for new sales of individual health insurance products and ancillary products by assigned producers (brokers and general agents) for an assigned sales territory. This position is responsible for the recruitment and selection of new producers. This position is accountable for attaining new sales growth goals including facilitating training and continued review of performance of the assigned external producers. This position is accountable for building and maintaining relationships with producers and ensuring timely service to producers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree OR minimum of 2 years health insurance sales experience including managing brokerage and/or field sales staff
• Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing
• Knowledge and skills of PC applications such as Microsoft office and databases
• Obtain a general agent insurance license within the first 3 months or currently possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity
• Applicants must take and pass the HCSC Medicare Certification exam or must be currently certified having passed HCSC Medicare Certification program within the past year according to federal standards and regulations. Applicants who took the HCSC Medicare Certification exam and failed to become certified in the past year are not eligible to apply for this job in accordance with federal regulations
