We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our client's sales growth, a laundry service working with a variety of large organisations in many different markets. The successful candidate will be provided with a company car as part of their package.

As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Client acquisition and meeting key targets for the company
• Market research to ensure you are ahead of the curve when it comes to industry trends, key competitors and business development opportunities
• Meeting and presenting to potential clients and partners
• Working closely with the leadership team and marketing team

The ideal Business Development Manager will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience in a business development role
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• The ability to travel as required (company car provided)

Connect Appointments are seeking reliable and motivated individuals with previous telephone experience to become a Telephone Sales Representative with one of the largest importers and distributors of packaging products in the UK.

Based within Billingham, this is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 5); paid at a competitive rate of £24,000 per annum.

Working as a Telephone Sales Representative your duties and responsibilities will include promoting, selling and obtaining orders from prospective customers over the phone. Combined with:

• Making outbound calls to generate sales
• Building B2B relationships with customers
• Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them
• Documenting customer information and utilising information already collated

What's required? Sales experience is preferred, but not essential, applicants with telephone experience will be considered. Combined with:

• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• The patience and ability engage customers in conversation
• Good sales ability
• The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
• Excellent level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
