Connect Appointments are seeking reliable and motivated individuals with previous telephone experience to become a Telephone Sales Representative with one of the largest importers and distributors of packaging products in the UK.
Based within Billingham, this is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 5); paid at a competitive rate of £24,000 per annum.
Working as a Telephone Sales Representative your duties and responsibilities will include promoting, selling and obtaining orders from prospective customers over the phone. Combined with:
- Making outbound calls to generate sales
- Building B2B relationships with customers
- Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them
- Documenting customer information and utilising information already collated
What's required? Sales experience is preferred, but not essential, applicants with telephone experience will be considered. Combined with:
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- The patience and ability engage customers in conversation
- Good sales ability
- The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
- Excellent level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
