The role
As an Internal Quality Assurer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will ensure accuracy and consistency of learning delivery and assessment decisions within training and apprenticeship programmes is carried out correctly.
Day-to-day, you will be reporting to the Quality manager, liaising with the customer on a daily basis and working with other teams across the contract, including deliver, business support and compliance and assurance.
- To conduct quality assurance activities in line with the IQA strategy, Awarding Organisation, ESFA / DfE and Ofsted requirements
- Produce sampling plans based on risk and in line with the IQA strategy.
- Conduct observations of teaching, learning and assessment providing clear, constructive, supportive and timely feedback
- Give clear, accurate and timely feedback to delivery staff, both verbally and written.
- Deliver training, mentoring and support to delivery staff along with delivering induction training to new members of staff.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home. Onsite location will include the South East.
Essential experience of the Internal Quality Assurer
- Appropriate mechanical engineering environment
- Experienced Internal Quality Assurer
- Good understanding of work-based learning programmes
Qualifications for the Internal Quality Assurer
- Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent)
- Maths and English - GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Engineering Level 3 qualification

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
