Analyzes flight involving large fleets of turbojet aircraft engaged in large-scale passenger and freight service; or evaluates maintenance activities and complete aircraft overhaul facilities which are equipped and staffed to handle the latest and most sophisticated turbojet aircraft and associated systems. This level includes responsibility for nationally and internationally prominent carriers who operate the largest, most advanced fleets of turbojet aircraft in the industry

Evaluates and updates all general room instructions to include: guest directories, fire evacuation procedures, equipment instructions, sundry price listings, and informational signage. Tracks trends in performance and conducts hospitality specific training to improve overall guest service and compliance with established standards. Tracks courses required to maintain or earn hospitality certifications. Oversees and manages the in-house training program. Oversees small study groups or self-directed studies as needed to complete lodging courses. Coordinates with Lodging Manager and Assistant Manager to establish and maintain budgets for staff development, incentives, and recognition items. Ensures completion of hospitality training required for certification with AH&LA/ Educational Institute. Coordinates with the Lodging Educational Institute to obtain training dates, materials, and instruction plans. Assesses the effectiveness of training standards in all areas of Lodging. Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:

• Provides expert advice and assistance to the Scientific Analysis (SA) Director, Laboratory Director and Deputy Laboratory Directors in Hawaii and Nebraska.

• Provides leadership to the Quality Assurance Program (QAP), implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) established by the SA Director, provide administrative assistance to scientific staff, and provide advice to the Laboratory Director on matters of policy and procedure as they relate to quality assurance and accreditation under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025: General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories and all supplemental requirements of external accrediting bodies.

• Utilizes appropriate project management techniques to coordinate and develop program execution plans for routine and special laboratory projects to ensure that the organization's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services are articulated and communicated to the team when assigning projects, solving problems and/or program issues.

As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Specialist, GS-2101-11, you will administer refresher and advance training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists. Instruct and evaluate AOC assigned technician personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC weapons systems of record. Instruct and evaluate enlisted AOC specialties to become instructors. Instruct same to function within established joint doctrinal principles to support the planning and prosecution of theater level joint operations. Monitor progress during training and advise when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification. Interview assigned enlisted AOC personnel to determine operational background in their respective weapons systems/specialties. Prescribe type, sequence, and extent of required training.
