The External Examining system is a key mechanism for upholding academic standards in UK Higher Education. This role provides an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the operation of Liverpool John Moores University's External Examining mechanisms.

Based in the Academic Quality and Standards Team, situated within the university's Academic Registry, the role involves the completion of key administrative functions and the provision of advice and guidance to university colleagues, collaborative partners and External Examiners.

We are seeking someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who is able to deal effectively with colleagues both within, and external to, the university.

An individual with methodical working practices, we are seeking someone who can organise and prioritise their work effectively and who is able to successfully work both independently and as part of a team. You will have the ability to work to agreed deadlines and to maintain accurate records are essential.

We are looking for an experienced Data Compliance Administrator to join a highly reputable business based close to Manchester Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct onboarding and compliance is completed on all partners. Your attention to detail and communication skills must be second to none as you will be expected to give accurate information to all involved and be confident to ensure the criteria has been met.
The salary available is between £23k to £24k and the role is hybrid, with 1 or 2 days a week in the office and the rest of the time being worked remotely.

What will you be doing as a Compliance Administrator?

• Checking data to ensure it fits the criteria required for supply
• Onboarding new partners for individual requirements
• Processing information accurately
• Liaising between all internal and external parties to ensure a smooth process
• Updating and logging all documentation

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous administration experience is essential for this role
• Ideally some previous experience dealing with compliance and checking documentation, however this is not essential
• You must have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
• Confident to inform people that they have not met the criteria needed
• You will be expected to have a good working knowledge of MS Office

A client within the Public Sector based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Building Control Officer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to carry out a full range of Building Control functions including the on-site supervision of building works and dealing with dangerous structure reports.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• The enforcement of the Building Regulations and associated legislation in respect of building works in progress on site.
• To keep adequate records of enforcement relevant to the Service's responsibilities and for future reference.
• To supervise and control the demolition of buildings in accordance with relevant legislation, including preparation of specification and approval of method statements.
• The inspection of dangerous and alleged dangerous structures and taking action under relevant legislation for the removal or securing of structures found to be dangerous.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to have the following experience:

• ensure that their work complies with all statutory requirements with Standing Orders and Financial Regulations of the Council
• ensure that all work functions are undertaken in accordance with health and safety legislation, codes of practice and the City Council's safety plan

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £45 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
