(1)Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Quality Assurance Division. Develops goalsand objectives that integrate organization and Quality objectives. Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff, as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, and implement quality improvements in response to concerns with regulatory compliance. Plans work for accomplishment by subordinates, sets and adjust short-term priorities if necessary. Evaluatesrequirements for additional resources. Balances organization needs with overall missionrequirements and resource interests. Identifies need for change in organization priorities and advises the Maintenance Group Commander on required actions to implement such changes. Provides training and experience to the workforce with regard to sound maintenance practices of the aircraft and associated equipment, and knowledge and capability in the military mission, and aircraft. The aircraft are part of the military mission, daily flying training, and support of the assigned Air Force Total Force operations. Manages the maintenance and inspection effort involved in keeping aircraft in an airworthy - combat readiness state, to include capability to carry out daily flying missions and ensure all maintenance operations are executed safely and in accordance with published guidance.

(2) Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates. Makes decisions on work problems presentedby subordinate personnel. Establishes and develops performance standards. Evaluates subordinatepersonnel. Establish employee work schedules, deadlines, and production/inspection priorities basedon aircraft maintenance status, aircraft mission requirements and other demand needs. Determinehow many jobs can be accomplished concurrently with the available manpower and resources.Develops methods and procedures, reviews the work of subordinates in progress and uponcompletion to ensure that they have met the defined quality and quantity standards. (3) Manages, reviews and develops maintenance policy, advising supervisors and employees onboth general policy and specific maintenance matters. Makes decisions and recommendations ontechnical concerns presented by supervisors. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge and ability tointerpret Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, engineering drawings, product specifications, AirForce Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) environmental standards, public law, and locallydeveloped policy. Evaluates and assesses complex systems, subsystems, integratedsystems/subsystems, or components for conformance to applicable technical data, engineeringdrawings, standards and specifications. Establishes and develops performance checklists andmetrics. Reviews and approves local operating instructions to supplement regulations and manualsof higher echelons in the area of aircraft and aircraft systems quality assurance. Reviews allOperating Instructions (OIs) to ensure locally published instructions are technically accurate,complete and consistent with Air Force and Major Command policy. Ensures coordination withaffected commanders and ensures the instruction is published as a wing operating instruction.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience testing or developing software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing

• 6+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium

• Experience designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results

• Experience creating and updating automated test cases or scripts

• Experience integrating test frameworks with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with test methodologies, software release cycle, test effort estimation, and tracking

• Experience with Linux or UNIX environments

• Experience generating and managing test data

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in CS

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with programming in Python, JavaScript or Java

• Experience with Load or Performance testing

• Experience testing Cloud-based architectures

• Experience with an Agile release methodology

• Experience in backend testing, API testing, UI testing, and DB queries

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Yulista is a fast-paced government contractor specializing in high-mix, low volume manufacturing. Mechanical Quality Inspectors perform detailed mechanical inspection of products for compliance to the technical data package via in-process, finishing and final inspection phases. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, purchase orders, statement of work and standards to determine quality status
•    Use precision measuring instruments to confirm dimensional compliance.
•    Ability to perform GD&T measurement to verifying the compliance of complex detailed or completed components and/or assemblies of aircraft and/or ground support vehicles
•    Be able to determine acceptance, rejection of materials presented for inspection and performing non-conformance reporting.
•    Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections.
•    Good organization skills and utilize Microsoft Office software to accurately document and maintain associated paperwork and inspection results in a consistent and timely fashion
•    Familiarity with various specifications applicable to Defense products 
•    Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities for the quality program for customers internal and external
•    Other duties as directed by the assigned Supervision

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

•    Functional proficiency in the use of programmable inspection equipment such a Zeiss CMM (Calypso), Vision Inspection equipment (OGP), and FARO/Roamer Arm technology OR Certified specialized inspection standard (CARC, AWS, Etc)
•    Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y 14.5)
•    Advanced usage of surface plate and mechanical inspection equipment to perform 3D inspection.
•    Proficiency in AS9100/ISO9000 environments (NADCAP a plus).
•    Maintain Certifications as required to perform duties.
•    Analyze test data, making computations as necessary, to determine test results.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
•    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
•    Ten (10) years Quality experience preferred, minimum of Eight (8) years working with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (Government and/or Commercial).
•    This position requires a minimum of a High School diploma/GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (1 or more): 
•    Inspection Equipment OEM certification such as Zeiss Calypso Advanced training.
•    Finishing Inspection of CARC paint system, MIL-DTL-5541chemical conversion, Anodizing and plating.
•    Familiar with CNC or other common manufacturing techniques.
•    Certified AWS welding inspector 
•    Composite Material Inspection
•    Associates Degree or above in technical field.
