Our client is a major employer within the local area and are seeking a well organised individual to ensure all materials are received, stored, handled and provided to the manufacturing plant in a safe, efficient, hygienic manner.

As a Production/Control Room Support Operative you will work shift pattern of (2 x 12-hour day shifts and 2 x 12-hour night shifts, then 4 days off). This is subject to change and the annualised hours will be scheduled in line with business requirements.
Your duties and responsibilities as a Production/Control Room Support Operative will include, but not limited to:
- Production of feed to the production plan with minimum stoppage
- Operating the SCADA production system
- Tipping of raw materials to meet production schedules
- General assistance with startup/shutdown/operational process
- Monitor process, machine operations and materials to ensure quality and conformity of the finished product within the client's quality standards
- Adherence to cleaning, hygiene and Company regulations
- Ensure all feed produced is to company quality standards
- Responsible for setting up and managing the bagging line
- Identifying and marking up the product bags with the correct documentation/information
- Hanging the product bags and filling with the appropriate material to the correct weight specifications
- Adherence to Health & Safety procedures and acting as a HSE ambassador
- Operating safe working practices and procedures and always maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the process facility
To be successful you will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience within the Aquaculture/Feed Manufacturing industry proving advantageous. Combined with:
- Previous experience of working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- A valid FLT licence with previous live load FLT experience is essential - FLT level 2 certificate is preferred
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Workday to a basic level
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders
- Must be able to demonstrate basic numerical skills
- Uses own initiative and keen to self-develop and manage own potential
