VNA and CMM Technician
Location: Newton Abbot
Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday - 39 hours
Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced VNA and CMM Technician to join our client's dynamic team in Newton Abbot. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking individual who is passionate about precision engineering and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the quality team, utilising the VNA tester.
- Assisting with CMM programming and utilising the CMM to assist production activities.
Opportunity for progression:
- Managing technical documentation, reviewing all drawings and specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Assisting in the development and testing of prototypes.
- To assist production and engineering team to manage and execute production projects.
- Liaise with the engineering team on all production requirements and capabilities for any new projects.
- Assist in implementing and maintain SOP's.
- Assist the sales department to ensure contract reviews are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in BOM reviews.
- Assist in all mechanical design activities. Working alongside engineering to ensure all data, information and specification sheets are adhered to and communicated through to production and quality.

Previous experience preferred however In house training can be provided for the right candidate.
