Supervises a staff of Air Traffic Control Specialists that is responsible for carrying out air traffic control assignments within a geographic area.

As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command an Control Officer, GS-2101-13, you will monitor and oversee the planning, organization, and supervision of all unit programs required by Air Force, Major Command, and ANG regulations in the training and employment of the force level Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) weapons system. The Operations Director must ensure AOC weapons systems personnel are capable of operating in a United States-only, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), or a tailored alliance environment. Must be trained and able to function in a senior level position in a joint/coalition AOC reporting to the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) at the 3-star level. Key Responsibilities:
