Hours: 6am-6am (3on3off)

significant investment over the last 6 months we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our food squad as Lead Production
Operative's. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things food, then you
might just be the perfect filling for our team!
Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent Quality Controller for our food production site to ensure food safety throughout the production line and
supply chain. Responsibilities including QA tasks across all manufacturing areas, recording daily quality control information on
the packing lines, and identifying any problem areas to maintain a smooth production flow. The ideal candidate will have a keen
eye for detail and a proactive approach to preventing and resolving quality issues. This role is crucial in maintaining our high
standards of food safety and product excellence.
KEY DUTIES:
* Visually inspect and quality control materials and packaging to agreed specifications, recording results on relevant inspection
report sheets.
* Inform the technical department of any non-conformances.
* Complete weekly quality attribute sheets for finished products.
* Carry out and record calibration checks on metal detectors and other equipment per required procedures and frequencies.
* Ensure all products are produced to specification and within QAS standards for each product.
* Conduct and record manual weight checks of components and finished products on the packing lines.
* Perform metal detector procedures with the correct test pieces.
* Execute and record modified atmosphere checks on packing lines.
* Verify and record that product labels are correct for the product being produced.
* Conduct and record finished product checks for weight, packaging, seal integrity, print clarity, visual appearance, clean
seals, and date coding.
* Inform management of any problems with raw materials, machinery, equipment, or finished products.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
* Perform daily hygiene inspections.
* Conduct knife integrity checks.
* Check sleeves, labels, printed film, bag, and box labels, and complete records.
* Collect finished paperwork for the day’s production.
* Collect and review paperwork from the previous day.
* Identify problems and inform management in a timely manner.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and demonstrate a commitment to achieving the highest standards of
hygiene and good manufacturing practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
* Good communication skills
* Level 2 HACCP
* Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene
* Understanding of Health and Safety issues related to all areas of food production
* Ability to carry out instructions as requested by the QA manager
* Energetic and enthusiastic
* Self-motivated
