The role
- Support the production, quality and technical departments in testing and inspection of Components, Raw materials, manufacturing processes and equipment
- Perform process reviews on manufacturing processes
- Analysis of components and sub-assemblies to Internal and External requirements
- Perform in-house product testing and random sampling to confirm specifications are correct
- Working with cleanroom leaders to ensure equipment is checked before and after use
- Review and update Standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical/process documentation
- Assist in problem solving, root cause analysis and risk assessments
- Getting involved with Non-conformance reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) activities
- Occasionally travelling to other Kimal sites and to suppliers
Key Skills
- Experience in a process engineering, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing sector
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control methods
- Understanding of industry regulations and standards
- Experience with product inspectios and compliance testing
