Overview:

As a Quality Control Assistant, you will support the implementation and compliance of ISO standards within the company. Your responsibilities include assisting in maintaining documentation, supporting internal audits, and helping with quality checks to ensure compliance with established standards. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform goods receiving in the central kitchen and report any non-conformities

• Ensure various departments in central kitchen adhere to ISO22000 food safety management system, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standard operating procedures at all times

• Perform quality checks in production lines and ensure accuracy of Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programmes (OPRP) records

• Prepare and send daily quality control reports to the management

• Assist to prepare training content and conduct in-house staff training covering personal hygiene, food safety guidelines and workplace safety

• Perform in-house swab tests on equipment and personal hygiene, equipment validation and verification and oversee all pest control maintenance

• Assist with routine and ad-hoc ISO internal and external audits, halal audits and regulatory agencies audits

Minimum qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, Quality Assurance or related field

• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) and able to speak Mandarin

• Have basic knowledge in FSMS, HACCP, QMS and Halal Certification

• Preferably 1 year working experience in QA or related field in F&B industry

• Station on site and carry out independent Quality Control Audit daily to all cluster’s operation on at least 50% of work done and randomly sampled by ITeFM.
• The audit shall include both document and site check.
• Prepare and submit Audit Report to QA auditors, FOM, and account director.
• Track and follow up on closure of Correction Actions (CA) and Preventive Actions (PA) as recommended in the audit reports.
• Represent the respective cluster in Authority Audit or other audits.
• Report directly to QA auditor on QC report and audit matters.
• Carry out any other instructions by immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Facilities Management / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent
• 2 years relevant experience in Facilities Management or Quality Management
• Candidates with ISO Internal Auditor Certification is advantageous

A van, PDA and a fuel card and full kit is supplied by our client and the basic salary is 36k + a good bonus scheme, the OTE is 42k minimum for this role and the these roles are permanent positions
