What Health System Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.

Health System Pharmacy is responsible for providing customized pharmacy program solutions that reduce costs and improve patient care quality for hospitals, health systems and other integrated healthcare providers may also consult with and advise healthcare team on prescribed medications, supplies and related processes.

Job Summary

Reporting to the System Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance (QA) Pharmacy Technician is responsible for regulatory, compliance, and operational duties within the Massachusetts State Office of Pharmacy Services (MSOPS).

Responsibilities

• Receives medication event reports and performs record review for data gathering and analysis.

• Assists in detecting and addressing quality issues in collaboration with the Quality Manager.

• Reviews, provides input, and supports staff education on quality-related policy or procedural changes.

• Assists Quality Manager in review and updating of policy and procedures.

• Audits medical record documentation to ensure appropriate charging and billing.

• Performs audits of controlled substance activities and records.

• Conducts audits of other quality assurance measures as assigned.

• Receives, reviews, maintains, and tracks nursing unit and log inspection reports.

• Leads and organizes quality assurance related training and orientation of staff members and creates and/or revises training documentation and resources for staff education.

• Assists in the development of and participates in process improvement initiatives.

• Ensures that look-alike, sound-alike medications are segregated in automated dispensing cabinets and physical inventory locations.

• Maintains outdated medication tracking function, ensuring appropriate expiration dates are entered, stock is rotated, and expired items removed from automated distribution equipment and physical inventory locations.

• Inspects medications in automated distribution equipment and/or physical inventory locations monthly as assigned, ensuring removal of expired and unusable medications and reconciliation of inventories.

• Attends and participates in departmental meetings, in-services, and quality improvement programs.

• Responsible for timely completion of all required training and education per department requirements.

• Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stock accurately.

• Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition, if applicable) accurately.

• Conducts observations of technicians for quality and accuracy of aseptic technique and practice for compliance with sterile IV compounding policies.

• Administers required validations of pharmacy employees such as media fill testing and gloved fingertip testing as required.

• Observes and validates pharmacy employee’s technique on donning/doffing personal protective equipment (PPE), handwashing, and aseptic technique.

• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.

• Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date.

• Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds if applicable.

• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.

• Repackages bulk medications in unit-dose packages safely and accurately per established procedures using appropriate techniques.

• Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Complies with all requirements related to risk management, safety, security, fire, and infection control. Complies with all applicable state, local and federal regulations.

• Demonstrates competence in automated dispensing equipment and adheres to established processes and procedures.

• Loads medications from restock lists into automated distribution system correctly.

• Empties and reconciles contents of automated distribution equipment return bins.

• Maintains appropriate par levels for inventories in automated distribution equipment.

• Accurately loads new inventory items and removes items deleted from inventory in automated distribution equipment.

• Monitors automated distribution equipment stock-outs and resolves stock-outs in a timely manner.

• Maintains safety-integrity-professionalism at all times to include appropriate communication with coworkers.

• Answers the telephone, identifying self and department; directs calls to appropriate personnel.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the Commonwealth of MA.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) or ability to obtain.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

• Sterile IV compounding experience preferred.

• Experience in auditing and review of medical records preferred.

• Knowledge of Commonwealth of Massachusetts pharmacy law when ordering and handling medications.

• Maintains a working knowledge of all policies and procedures related to technical operations.

• Must have a good working knowledge of generic and trade names of medications.

• Ability to work well in a team.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong customer service skills.

Scope of work

Position located at Beaumont Service Center and assigned Corewell Health Hospital; travel required.

The External Quality Improvement Nurse utilizes clinical and data analytical expertise to identify quality and patient safety trends, promotes patient safety throughout the continuum of care and leads teams to improve quality and patient safety. This is a system level position, which supports quality and safety work across all local sites. Requires interaction with multiple levels of organizational staff, from front line care providers to senior executive leadership. Is directly involved in local site / system committees and process initiatives to assist leadership with creating process improvements designed to optimize care, quality, and patient safety related performance improvement activities. Will develop a relationship with physician champions to move forward initiatives, meeting deadlines and standards with minimal supervision, and report findings and trends to registry / collaborative according to established standards and deadlines.

• EPIC Chart abstraction for quality measurement related to pay for performance and regulatory requirements
• Data outcomes analysis, reporting, and presentation to hospital quality improvement teams to drive improved patient outcomes
• Coordination of accreditation standards for national programs
• Ability to fluently and independently work within Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Formal PI methodology
• Knowledge of Kaizen and Kaizen training activities – required.

The Business Risk and Control Officer will be a key member of the Legal Risk & Control Team supporting both the Legal Department and the Regulatory Strategy and Policy (RSP) team with focus on the Global Assessment Unit coordination role as well as supporting the implementation and execution of new BAU transformation processes to ensure appropriate adherence to firm-wide initiatives and requirements, including operational and compliance risk management programs.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION / DEPARTMENT

The City of Aurora is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector who perform Inspection of construction-related professional services during the construction phase of water projects. Construction Inspectors verify work is completed in compliance with plans, specifications, rules, regulations and City codes.

Aurora Water is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the drinking water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage systems, treatment of drinking water and non-potable reclaimed wastewater for irrigation, billing and collection, public outreach and water conservation, acquisition and development of future water rights, major capital projects programs, and quality control for regulatory compliance and public health.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Incumbents, as assigned, perform entry-level to journey-level inspections of wet utilities and related systems including fire and life safety systems of residential and capital projects to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities may include:

· Coordinates, and monitors water construction projects

· Works with consultants and engineers; monitors work being done

· Coordinates water issues with other city departments

· Reviews and Evaluates construction plans and specifications and suggests changes, as appropriate

· Maintains accurate construction files and records

· Identifies pre-problems areas and meets with contractors to resolve problems

· Conducts walk-through with contractors and inspects completed and in-progress work sites

· Performs miscellaneous field work such as gathering information, finding problem areas, and performing rude survey work

· Works on special projects as assigned

· Performs additional duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING CONDITIONS

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

· At least two (2) years’ experience performing construction inspections of water utilities for a public jurisdiction or consulting engineering firm

Knowledge:

· Knowledge of principles and techniques of construction as applicable to the construction of Utility projects

· Construction materials and equipment; construction contracts

Abilities:

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, contractors, developers, and citizens

The End-to-End lead for Risk Mgt Report – Scoping, Data Acquisition, Sampling and Profiling will be responsible for the end-to-end transaction testing process for prioritized reports, including planning, scoping, sampling, test execution and observation validation.  This lead will work closely with Risk and Management Report use case owners, Functional Chief Data Officers (FCDOs) and Global Functions Technology (GFT) to adopt, execute transaction testing cycles and ensure adherence to the Transaction Testing Operating Model.

Success for this lead is to effectively and efficiently plan and lead testing cycles aligned to the Transaction Testing Multi Year Plan and Operating Model, testing data reported to regulators match their original source values, and conform to reporting requirements to identify areas which may require stronger data quality controls or compensating measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report transaction testing reviews for a book of work
• Sr analysts supporting transaction testing reviews including prioritizing work, providing guidance throughout cycles, developing analysts’ testing skill set, report and product knowledge through training on cycle scope. 
• Partner with GFT, Business Technology, Report Owners, FCDOs and external consultants in leading transaction testing cycles aligned the Transaction Testing Operating Model.
• Identify issues and exceptions, produce executive quality reports, analysis and insights, coordinate handoffs and communicate updates and results effectively to manager and stakeholders
• Support Root Cause Analysis in collaboration with GFT, Data Providers, Report Owners, FDCOs
• Ensure adherence to relevant policies, standards and operating procedures pertaining to Transaction Testing E2E Process

General Description:

Acts as an expert RN in clinical care of injured patients, coordinates trauma team care delivery and system throughput.  

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Provides clinical command and control during trauma activations.

Philips is moving from our current Third-Party Screenings Program (DDP 1.0) to a new Third Party Screenings Program (DDP 2.0).   Philips will leverage the latest technology, automation, and risk assessment techniques to ensure we can effectively understand and successfully mitigate risks associated with doing business with its external third parties. This position will partner with the Program Lead to drive the program towards successful completion.  This role will require you to leverage your experience and effective program management techniques and resources to ensure that our locally (Amsterdam) and globally based team is always aligned and focused on our ultimate goal of reducing Philips’ third-party risk exposure.

In your role you will:

• Develop and implement the program governance framework (i.e., decision making process via Steerco, program team, workstreams etc. as well as involvement of zones/regions, business, function stakeholders as required

• Plan and design the program and proactively monitor its overall progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions.

• Ensure that the overall program timelines are updated as needed based upon latest program developments.

• Ensure day-to-day management of the program including supervising and controlling the program progress (i.e., managing and chairing the meetings, maintaining trackers etc.)

• Manage stakeholders and cascade relevant, regular messaging about the program status and the next steps, on-time and to the right audience so that the entire organization is aware of the DDP 2.0 program, how it will impact them, and what their roles and responsibilities will be under this new program.

• Manage and resolve any issues and risks that may arise.

• Report progress of the program at regular intervals in various forums e.g., steerco, program team etc.

• Coordinate interdependent deliverables across the workstreams within program and from outside of the program environment.

• Facilitate development of the blueprint/design for the new tool and process

• Define the new operating model (roles, responsibilities, ways of working, central vs zone/region teams post go-live

• Manage internal (e.g., Philips IT)/ external suppliers to the program.

• Drive IT development activities (design/architecture decisions, develop, test, data migration, cutover, hypercare) in close coordination with IT stakeholders.

• Drive Change Mgmt. & Communication to guide the impacted group through the change curve ensuring new tool and process gets embedded in the organization.

• Ensure creation of the training materials and training delivery to the impacted group

• Driving the deployment of new tool and process in the applicable zones/regions, businesses and functions, by working with the local leadership teams

• Conduct the lessons learnt exercise to leverage learnings from the earlier deployments into the future deployments.

• Define performance management structure (KPIs, review cadence etc.) applicable post go-live.

• Ensure handover/transition from Project team to Operations team (“business as usual”/Steady State) as well as the readiness of the receiving Operations team.

• Manage the program budget and actual costs throughout the program.

You're the right fit if you have:

• At least 5 years of strong program management experience working in a global corporate matrix environment, with superior organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology, business, economics, or other similar fields

• Proven experience of managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders

• Strong stakeholder management skills and have a proven track record in creating business impact.

• Preferably working experience in and/or affinity with Risk & Compliance environment

• Advanced written, verbal, and visual communication skills - proven track record to influence and drive consensus with varying audiences and levels of an organization.

• Excellent English communication and writing skills (min C1)

• Thrive on working in a dynamic environment.

Title:

KBR is seeking a Test Control Center Manager to support NGA in the testing of geospatial data at the Springfield, VA location. The Test Control Center Manager (TCM) role provides technical and scheduling oversight of the Test Control Center (TCC) spaces of the NGA Test Organization (NTO). The TCC includes multiple test suites, each with multiple test workstations, which serve as work and meeting space for integration test activities. The NTO spaces also house the work spaces for Field Service Representatives (FSR) supporting NTO integration test activities. The TCM acts as a central point of contact for all TCC issues and requests, and provides coordination with NGA Security and Installations (SI), the Enterprise Support Center (ESC), and other NGA offices as necessary.   

Responsibilities: 

• Provide TCC Management, ensuring the upkeep and readiness of the TCC test cells and FSR spaces. 

• Open and monitor trouble tickets as needed to support TCC upkeep and test readiness. 

• Assist troubleshooting problems as they relate to the TAC test environment, systems or mission. 

• Verify Operational Approval to Test (OATT) for subject segments/systems. 

Required Education, Experience, & Skills: 

• Bachelors Degree in related field with at least ten years of related technical experience. 

• A minimum of five years of experience managing technical teams. 

• Experience must include automation and manual software quality assurance testing with enterprise- level web and client/server applications. 

• Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, and test execution 

• Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies, including: Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing and defect tracking. 

• Experience in writing test scripts and creating detailed test plans, test cases from use cases and requirements documentation.
