As we embark on this journey, we are looking for Performance and Compliance Director to help us drive productivity, efficiency, and compliance to achieve those goals.
As the Performance and Compliance Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering our Environmental Services sector towards its strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director for Environmental Services, this position offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our services and make a significant impact on our success.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development of sector strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with our growth objectives and operational excellence.
- Growth and Financials: driving financial performance across the sector, ensuring the achievement of revenue and risk management whilst also working with colleagues in our Growth function to successfully prosecute bids, winning new business and retaining existing contracts.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the transformation activities to standardize processes, improve data use, and ensure commercial and operational compliance across the sector.
- People and Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, safety, and inclusivity, developing a team of leaders and professionals who are engaged and motivated to excel.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable leadership experience in complex outsourcing or operational environments, with a track record of driving change, developing organisational culture and delivering results.
- Highly numerate with strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience in managing commercial performance, with a focus on growth and operational excellence.
- A commitment to our values, with the capability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Level 5 Management qualification, and Yellow/Green Belt or PMO Qualification preferred.
- Experience of leading and motivating teams at all levels
- High impactful, articulate and a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels
