Your new role

• Provide technical advice through the preparation of reports and briefings on building safety, building regulations, dangerous structures and land charges regulatory issues.
• Contribute to Council responses to government consultations and technical reviews in relation to building safety, building regulations, dangerous and temporary structures and land charges regulatory issues
• Provide support to the Building Safety Regulator under Section 13 of the Building Safety Act 2022 in the regulation of Higher-risk buildings and enforcement of the building regulations.
• Ensure full cost recovery for the Council in support of the Building Safety Regulator as set out in the Building Safety (Fees and Charges) Regulations (2023).
• Ensure that 'restricted activities' are only undertaken by the Building Control Authority upon the advice of a registered building inspector with the appropriate class registration for the building type.
• Ensure that the Council's building inspectors meet the requirements of the Building Safety Regulator in relation to competency assessment, training and development.
• Enforce the building regulations within the Borough using powers under the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Act 1984 to ensure public safety.
• Investigate offences under Section 57 of the Building Act 1984, prosecuting cases as required.
• Investigate unauthorised building work in the Borough resolving contraventions.
• Serve Stop and Contravention Notices for breaches of the building regulations, prosecuting cases as required.

The post holder shall actively manage, participate in, and support departments in visits from external bodies, representing the Isle of Wight NHS Trust, and Island CDC, and directly liaising with external auditors. You will have experience in service improvement, with well developed interpersonal skills and planning experience. We are looking for someone to coordinate the achievement of accredited services within a two-year timeframe, requiring effective time management and people management. You will be required to report on performance to departmental and senior management, ensuring escalation of any challenges and mitigation of risk is considered and corrective action is taken. The Diagnostics Accreditation & Quality Manager shall provide comprehensive support in the coordination of diagnostic accreditation processes, enabling the Trust to deliver its vision in providing High Quality, Compassionate care to our island community. The Diagnostics Accreditation & Quality Manager shall coordinate and lead the accreditation processes across our departments, within our Acute Services & Community Diagnostic Centre. This will be achieved through: Providing leadership, advice, and support to diagnostic services embarking on their accreditation journey, fostering a culture which values high quality patient care. Working in partnership with the Accreditation Coordinators, Service leads and medical leads to ensure the multi-disciplinary team all work together to achieve the common goal of quality accreditation. Implementation and maintenance of systems and processes which ensure standards are upheld. Maintaining oversight of data reporting requirements and ensuring Trust compliance. You shall support further review of AHP services to enable quality service improvement and accreditation as appropriate.

A Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for a Programme Manager / Senior Project Manager to join their Markets Division.

The project will be focused on the Design, Execution and Remediation of their Risk and Controls.
