An exciting opportunity has become available in the Learning and Quality Team, with the introduction of the new Learning, Teaching and Quality Manager role.
This is a key College role, building on the success of the Learning and Digital Skills academy initiative, to provide operational leadership and management of Learning and Teaching enhancement, whilst driving the Quality focused agenda across the college. In this you will support the enhancement of Learning and Teaching across all curriculum areas whilst leading on the continued quality enhancement and assurance activity of both curriculum and corporate service areas where appropriate.
Working closely with the Head of Learning and Quality, you will have line manager responsibility for a team that supports and develops a range of teaching, learning and quality activities across the college.
Much of your work will be carried out in conjunction with wider college teams developing a range of communities of practice around learning and teaching enhancement whilst also leading on the quality assurance and enhancement across college.
With a degree (or professional equivalent) together with a teaching qualification, you will be a skilled teaching practitioner with strong, in depth knowledge of designing and implementing high quality learning and teaching activities whilst having a thorough understanding of quality assurance in relation to assessment.
