Do you have significant experience of Estates Statutory and Mandatory requirements for Hard FM services? Are you experienced in project and budget management skills? Do you have an up-to-date knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to all aspects of planning, construction and good working practices?
UHBW is seeking a dedicated and experienced Estates Compliance Manager on a 12 month fixed term basis to oversee all elements of Hard FM Estates Compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our facilities meet statutory and mandatory requirements.
The successful candidate will lead the improvement programme focusing initially on Fire Compliance and manage contracts, outsourced services, and in-house direct labour related to statutory compliance activities.
This could also be an ideal secondment opportunity.
Your duties will include:
• To lead on the reporting and improvement of the Fire Compliance position and provide monthly updates to the Fire Improvement Group in relation to current compliance gaps and action plans to improve the position
• Co-ordinate the production of outline budget costs potential capital projects within agreed protocols and to a standard format.
• Ensure that the correct contract documentation is prepared and Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs)/procedures are implemented and followed for projects throughout the full range of the contracting process.
• Create appropriate project management structures and appoint project team members, ensuring thorough governance procedures are followed.
• Ensure all Engineering and Building Maintenance activities achieve statutory compliance and comply with appropriate NHS Technical standards and Trust and Estate Policies.
• Give professional advice that provides the best outcome to the trust in regards of energy consumption, sustainability, conservation and whole life maintenance with regard to the development of all Hard FM services.
