APJ Juweller Pte Ltd, is a trusted shopping destination for Gold and Silver jewellery in Singapore. We are reputed organization in Little India, serving Singaporeans for more than a decade. We do follow fair practice in recruiting staffs for our firm.
We are young and growing company and hence, we are looking for people who are versatile in their work. Their main task is to ensure the high-quality stock is available in right-quantity in the shop, as per customer’s needs in right-time. Being in Jewellery field, they need to do small ornament repairs or quality check work on their own.
Currently we are looking for QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER for our firm to take Quality Control of Jewellery Management. He / She plays a crucial role in maintaining quality of company’s jewellery stock inventory.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Final Inspection of fine goods such as finished gold jewellery, Silver jewellery, gemstones, etc. to ensure that all internal specifications and standards are met.
· Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications to maintain quality jewellery in Showroom.
· Checking order/repairs items to its specific requirements and make sure the finishing works is performed exactly.
· Documenting inspection results and entering error data into a computer database.
· Notifying appropriate personnel for discrepancies in orders
· Setting customer service standards
· Reviewing and addressing customer requests efficiently with our sales team
· Specifying quality requirements of Jewellery with suppliers
· Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
· Working with operating staff to establish procedures, quality standards, systems, and procedures
· Partner with sales team and management to identify methods to improve overall servicing quality.
· Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality
· Additional projects or duties as mandated by Management.
Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent.
· Must have at least 4 - 6 years of jewellery quality control experience . Little India sales experience is preferred, to understand Singapore customer’s jewellery interest and Gold jewellery quality.
· Must have at least 4– 6 years of quality assurance experience in maintaining quality standards in gold jewellery management.
· Advanced level computer skills
· Ability to check the quality of jewellery and obtain data from testing machine.
· Knowledge of Gold jewellery, diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones, and jewelry manufacturing.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines.
· Demonstrates time management skills.
· Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
· Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and teach others.
· Optional to work in Sundays & Public Holidays.
