Senior Compliance Executive
Role Description
The incumbent will be based in Singapore and Indospace will provide the selected candidate with significant access to senior leaders within the firm. The candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to all compliance and operational aspects of the real estate fund management business and will be expected to contribute to the growth of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist all compliance/regulatory aspects of business operations of the real estate manager and respective funds domiciled in Singapore across finance, tax, accounting, and audit functions
• Works closely with Assistant Manager to provide administrative support on corporate transactions such as bridge financing, deal closures, exits, and restructuring
• Undertake to review of corporate documentation including but not limited to legal agreements and resolutions
• Assist banking relationships and treasury management of bridge facilities
• Oversee relationships with external accountants, auditors, corporate secretarial service providers, and fund administrators on various corporate matters
• Manage and track regulatory inspection matters in particularly ACRA filling
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and provide advice to the business
• Handle new initiatives and projects to constantly strive to improve the compliance team and the work undertaken
Education and/or Work Experience
• University Degree holder preferred
• Compliance experience in private equity firm preferred or alternatively candidates who has in depth experience on company secretarial matters
• Dynamic and assertive individual who is up for challenges and is a motivated self-starter
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required
• Excellent written and spoken English
