The External Examining system is a key mechanism for upholding academic standards in UK Higher Education. This role provides an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the operation of Liverpool John Moores University's External Examining mechanisms.
Based in the Academic Quality and Standards Team, situated within the university's Academic Registry, the role involves the completion of key administrative functions and the provision of advice and guidance to university colleagues, collaborative partners and External Examiners.
We are seeking someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who is able to deal effectively with colleagues both within, and external to, the university.
An individual with methodical working practices, we are seeking someone who can organise and prioritise their work effectively and who is able to successfully work both independently and as part of a team. You will have the ability to work to agreed deadlines and to maintain accurate records are essential.
