Manpower is currently seeking a QC Assistant for our global client based in Milton Keynes to assist in the monitoring, recording and reporting of all production from a quality control perspective.
This is a key role for the site and the business and ensures the stringent quality standards are maintained, the business reputation is therefore maintained and critically that the final component quality is being delivered to spec for our customers.

Some Key Responsibilities include- - Monitor and ensure part and pack quality across all machines / components.
- Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement projects
- Both maintain and monitor quality records, tracing, checking and clearly reporting quality issues / component integrity.
- Ensure that all relevant Quality Equipment has safety checks carried out as per the schedule and that any faults are reported immediately.
- Visual inspection and record of machine output on a regular basis.
- Adherence to all quality controlled documents, policies and procedures including SWP, SOP and WI's
- Assist in the completion of GMP and other site audits
- Carry out daily safety checks on production machines as trained.
- Operate within and help maintain, monitor and drive forward Health and Safety practices and ethos.
- Assist with coordinating compliance with the BRC standard
You will be able to demonstrate - Relevant experience of working in a manufacturing environment, ideally injection moulding
- Knowledge of CMM, barcode system / JDE
- An understanding of IOSH, Auditing & HACCP
- A logical and methodical approach to their duties
- Able to work with a high level of autonomy and will assist in the training of other staff.
This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent after a set induction/training period of. Equivalent salary during initial induction/training period is approximately £26,000 during which you'll be working a set Mon - Fri 8:00AM to 5:30PM pattern. After successfully completing this period, you will move on to the designated shift of Fri - Tue 8:00AM - 5:30PM whereby an additional shift premium is paid taking equivalent salary up to approximately £32,000.
