This Transportation Security Inspector position is located in Charlotte/Douglas International Airport (CLT), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring security compliance of persons and transportation systems and entities regulated under the Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1500 series. You will perform selected assignments and progressively responsible inspection work such as:

• Conducting less complex inspections or portions of more complex inspections.
• Applying basic technical inspection knowledge acquired in formal core training and on-the-job training (OJT), along with any limited experience gained prior to or after such training.
• Conducting regulatory inspections and investigations, and supporting criminal investigations related to alleged or suspected security violations.
• Responding to security incidents, threats, violations, or potential violations.
• Providing overt and covert presence, including high visibility activities, to detect and reduce identified security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Participating in covert and overt test and audits, as well as vulnerability assessments.
• Reviewing and analyzing assessment reports and testing results with specific attention to identifying unusual trends or actions that appear to have the potential for developing a security or safety problem.

• Develop and provide educational programs, training sessions, and consultations focused on safe healthcare practices for patients with blood-borne infectious diseases and biological warfare agents (such as Smallpox and Anthrax).
• Foster awareness among healthcare professionals regarding infection prevention and control measures.
• Conduct well-designed epidemiologic investigations to assess disease patterns and identify potential outbreaks.
• Determine the existence of epidemics and promptly initiate appropriate control measures.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory agencies, including but not limited to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and The Joint Commission.
• Regularly review and update infection control policies to align with current guidelines.
• Implement infection control surveillance tracers across diverse clinical areas to monitor adherence to national and state standards.
• Perform in-person infection control audits during surgical and dental procedures.
• Report findings to section leadership and maintain electronic records for analysis and continuous improvement.

• You will apply comprehensive knowledge of mechanical principles to plan, lay out, and perform work involving disassembly, examination, repair, modification, overhaul, reassembly, test, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
• You will replace prescribed parts, check dimensions and tolerances of parts to determine serviceability and making corrections as necessary.
• You will perform inspections during removal, repair, fabrication, alteration, overhaul and installation of aircraft parts and components.
• You will use special jigs and tools to work efficiently and reading and interpreting specifications sheets when checking aircraft parts for damage or deterioration.
• You will interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Title: QA Officer (Shifts) - 8-month Contract

Salary: £32,000 - £36,500

Overview of the Role
You will provide a professional administrative service supporting the data cleansing activities of the CPS Programme for the Purchasing work stream. Working with colleagues and suppliers, you will ensure that the master data is accurate, complete and consistent to enable a seamless migration to a new ERP solution. You will have a proactive approach to problem solving, helping to resolve purchasing and invoice queries and will work with the SAP purchasing system (P2P) and other in-house procurement systems entering information and generating reports. You will be self-motivated and resourceful with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people and as part of a team. You will have strong numeracy and literacy and IT skills and be willing to undertake any training required that is relevant to your role.

What does the role entail?
* Resolving blocked invoice queries using SAP MRBR and ZMIR5 reporting
* Generating standard SAP reports and extracting master data
* Assisting with the correction of vendor records
* Liaising with suppliers to obtain company information to ensure the
completeness of vendor records
* Supporting the closure of completed purchase orders and identifying any
remediation required to maintain the GR/IR account
* Ensuring open purchase requisitions are approved or closed as required to maintain data quality
* Building up a network of staff contacts, liaising to discuss mutual problems and working to devise solutions which may be adopted as best practise
* Maintaining records and files to an auditable standard

Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* Knowledge of SAP ERP System;
* Familiarity with working in a small team managing purchasing issues &
questions, working on your own initiative, good communicator and have the
ability to network across the organisation both internally and with external
suppliers;
* Accuracy of data entry into an ERP System;
* Ability to rectify master data corrections in a timely manner with an audit trail embedded;
