In this role, we'll look to you to be our technical specialist in regulatory compliance, providing compliance oversight and strategic support to the business for all legal and regulatory requirements. Assist assurance for Digital Services Leads and Information Asset Owners in their compliance against standards, through peer reviews, engagement with audits, advice and guidance of compliance management. Drive compliance with the Confidentiality elements of the Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DSPT or equivalent) requirements and support work to co-ordinate and assure the Trust annual DSPT or equivalent submission. Work Collaboratively with Divisions to evidence their compliance with principles of the DSPT and the Digital teams on wider components Lead on maintenance of the Trust Register of Processing Activities (RoPa) including reviews of Data Flows, within Divisions, from Systems and provision of data sets supporting audit/research/analysis. Being the lead for establishing correct legal basis for any processing of data, inclusive of use of consent and national data opt out. Collaborate with key Stake Holders (internal and external to the Trust) on Supply Chain Risks. Considering current supplier due diligence requirements, on boarding the Information Asset Owners (IAOs) with key programmes of assurance and maintaining accuracy of the Information Asset Register.

Work with the Practice Manager to oversee the development and implementation of practice strategy, policies and procedures in relation to: data entry and collection, compliance, regulation and performance monitoring, including Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and Impact and Investment Fund (IIF). Support Partners and the Practice Manager in meeting local, national and organisational targets in relation to compliance, regulation, performance and information governance. Develop and deliver a focussed and relevant compliance framework to enable the practice to meet CQC and contractual inspection and audit requirements, including primary care quality visits, infection control audits etc. Delivery of in-house training required for staff to ensure the appropriate levels of engagement and support are in place for effective compliance. Contribute to the preparation and updating of Practice Development Plans and oversee the implementation of the aims and objectives in relation to Quality and compliance. Foster an environment within the team that supports staff development and encourages ideas and takes account of staff opinions. To support Safeguarding with administrative support in ensuring safeguarding processes are followed and information requests are responded to within timeframes set. Data: Work with colleagues to ensure accurate data is available to underpin effective performance management, compliance and risk management, supporting continuous improvement of practice activities. Have oversight of data quality across the practice and support teams to achieve good data quality providing guidance as required. Incident Management: Oversee the practices incident management and significant event reporting systems, liaising with staff to ensure all incidents are recorded and processed in line with policy. Oversee data and produce management reports on incidents as requested. Encourage a culture of continuous learning through incidents by establishing appropriate frameworks and assisting managers in implementing them. Information Governance: Work closely with the management team, ensuring compliance with information governance standards across the practice. To maintain, complete and submit the practices Data Security Protection Toolkit submission on behalf of the practice. Act as the practices lead for information governance and data protection issues and submit any data returns required. Policy and Procedure: Support colleagues to understand and implement organisation standards, policies and procedures, including where appropriate the delivery of training and advice sessions. Assist the Practice Manager in all HR and Recruitment procedures, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place. Liaise with our HR partners Peninsula when required to seek advice/guidance on employment/HR issues.

We're looking for a fire compliance manager to join our property team. As owners of one of the UK's largest commercial property portfolios, we've got a big job on our hands transforming the Co-op estate to make it fit for the future. Our commercial property team have an important role to play in driving our growth by making sure we get great value from the money we invest into our stores, funeral homes, and depots.

In this role, you'll be responsible for making sure all areas of our diverse property portfolio are compliant, making sure fire risks are effectively identified and managed. This will be achieved by leading and promoting a compliance culture. What you'll do

* lead the fire risk management compliance category to make sure our properties are fully compliant, taking responsibility for the end to end process for fire risk management across our estate
* manage and maintain our CAFM and compliance management systems, keeping dashboards and trackers updated
* provide technical and delivery management support across multiple delivery workstreams such as facilities management, construction, and capital delivery
* support internal technical investigations and assessments when incidents arise
* maintain and validate internal fire related compliance policies and procedures
* provide technical support and expertise at compliance working group meetings, as well as attending technical review meetings
* partner closely with our contractors, Co-op contract managers, internal supply chain teams, and internal risk teams in a collaborative way
* deliver the requirements of Co-op's Compliance Management Procedures and Third Party Supplier Management standard

This role would suit people who have

* previous experience of managing fire compliance or fire safety and/ or a fire related qualification which could be from; Institute of Fire Engineers IFE- level 3 qualification, or NEBOSH Fire Certificate/ Fire Protection Association- level 3 or equivalent
* strong Microsoft Excel skills and data interpretation with the ability to write reports
* experience of presenting data and insight to both technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling way
* the ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering high quality work
* excellent relationship building skills with the confidence to challenge and drive improvement
