Seeking Singaporean to join as QA Analyst (Banking Domain (Account Opening and KYC)) on 1 Yr Project renewable assignment

Experience in banking processes particularly on Account Opening System that covers KYC, and Customer Maintenance services.

• Performs System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing of the application.
• Generate and share daily execution reports using Jira.
• Involve in daily stand-up meetings.
• Coordinate with team members and other teams for day-to-day work.
• Do email support for different application issues under the team.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate (Test Engineer) is responsible for the end-to-end testing activities of an integrated e-payment system. The primary responsibilities would include carrying out the activities in the testing lifecycle, including test planning and analyzing business and system requirements.

The candidate will also be responsible:

• Preparing the test environment and designing and developing the test cases.
• Preparing the test environment and executing the test procedures.
• Automating the test solution based on the system design using scripting or programming languages as well as performance tuning.
• Create traceability to requirements, analyze gaps and address them.
• Logging and tracking defects to closure
• Conducting test reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis for production and user acceptance defects and address test gaps to ensure test efficiency.
• Develop design documents and user manuals that effectively describe and provide clear instructions on the test automation solution to the end users, including testers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• Knowledge of testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity with the full system development lifecycle from requirement, and development, to testing and deployment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
• Knowledge of diverse test execution phases (Agile testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing);

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reviews of transaction filtering and screening to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform sampling of cleared alerts to assess the accuracy and quality of the adjudication.
• Gather and analyze data to spot trends, recurring issues, or inefficiencies in the filtering process.
• Document findings and assisst in generating reports for manager and stakeholders.
• Work with the filtering team to provide feedback and identify areas of improvement in processes and controls.
• Collaborate to improve workflow, suggest enhancements, and support the implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of experience in the banking industry with some exposure to screening process.
• Understanding of financial crime and money laundering risks.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies and trends in large sets of data
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior team members.
• Experience with compliance or AML tools such as World Check, Fircosoft, or other filtering and screening system is a plus.

Serves as a function/business/product compliance risk senior analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for assisting with internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation and design and deliver a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protect the franchise. In addition, engages with the ICRM Product and Function coverage teams, in order to partner to develop and apply CRM program solutions that meet the function/business/product and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi program framework. Primary responsibilities include monitoring compliance risk behaviors and providing day-to-day Compliance advice relating to the supported function/business/product and guidance on function/business/product rules/laws.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations.
• Collaborating with other internal areas including: Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk to address compliance issues which may impact the supported function/business/product.
• Supporting the business in performing timely compliance reviews of new transactions and/or products.
• Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training for the supported function/business/product.
• Researching any rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures or other controls necessary to comply with the rules/regulations
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Working Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies in the supported function/business/product
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
