Your role

We’re looking for an IT Quality & Test engineer to:

• assist & build high level test strategies with input from the Dev Feature Lead and/or business and derives time estimates
• leverage and drive automated testing solutions within the team and projects via test automation
• able to manage a small team of testers within local, onshore and offshore locations (with aid of QA Capability Lead)
• manage relationships with development and business stakeholders
• engage proactively with QA Capability Lead regarding project statuses, resourcing, risks and other test management
• reporting to QA Capability on a weekly basis by way of structured reports and informal meetings outlining achievements/issues
• understand and respond appropriately to internal and external client needs
• strong ownership, responsibility, accuracy and attention to details.

You’ll be working in the Tech Services Quality Engineering (TS QE) Global team. You will be working with highly motivated and enthusiastic IAM Authentication and Access Control Quality Assurance Engineering team based out of Singapore location, who along with stakeholders, are trying to work towards realizing the vision of our leadership and organization.

As an IT Quality & Test engineer Test Lead you'll play an important role in QA support and become the tollgate for the TS project deliverables and be part of TS QE Global team. In your role you will be working with the 3rd party service providers across all regions and will be responsible for relevant Release/Change test deliverables. You will be responsible for supervising/managing multiple projects and QE resources.

Your expertise

• 10+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer, ideally a Test Lead
• Java/Selenium or TOSCA scripting experience
• working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitLab with Cloud infrastructure (preferably MS Azure)
• knowledge of IT Security domain, well-versed with Identity and Access Management - Privileged Access Management concepts and related products
• agile certifications to showcase understanding of different ceremonies and methodologies
• manage end-to-end testing lifecycle for upstream/downstream applications with ability to understand the requirements, perform gap analysis and requirement mapping in Agile set-up
• expertise in stakeholder management and meeting relevant Quality SLAs & KPIs

Your role:

• Acting as a point of contact and subject matter expert in operational risk framework and identification of risk Integrated Client Lifecycle Services Organization operation, this includes:
• Provide guidance to ensure the timely and accurate assessment, capture and maintenance of Operational Risk issues like Risk Events, Emerging Risks and Non Financial Risk Issues.
• Owning and Executing timely closure of risk packets including electing the appropriate risk mitigation.
• Support and challenge functional teams in determination of sustainable remediation activities to address operational risk issues and audit actions.
• Work with Global teams to Deliver and monitor progress in risk remediation activities.
• Provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate reporting of all operational risk related items and events;
• Lead Risk forums and implement key controls across Integrated Client Lifecycle Services Organization globally.
• Oversee execution independent testing of 1LoD Key Controls and lead the Next Generation team for Integrated Client Lifecycle Services Organization Risk and Control Function.

Interaction is with stakeholders such as Compliance, Internal Audit, Business Risk Manager, Regulators, FinCrime, Legal in addition to our internal stakeholders within Integrated Client Lifecycle Services Organization.

Your expertise:

• Previous experience in the banking industry, experience in AML and non-AML regulations is a plus or added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability manage multiple deliverables while balancing stakeholder demand.

We're looking for someone like that to join our management team in the Regulatory Transaction Reporting (RTR) function. The RTR function supports the core regulatory reporting obligations in the region, namely ASIC, MAS, HKMA and JFSA conducting Quality Assurance on RTR across the whole APAC region. The role will provide varied challenges due to the nature and complexity of the reporting obligations, involves managing a small sized team and engagement with a large array of other functions & stakeholders within the region and globally.

The main activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Effectively leading the Quality Assurance team and processes conducted on core regulatory reporting obligations in the region, namely ASIC, MAS, HKMA and JFSA.

• Work with report owners and other stakeholders to ensure all critical reports are compliant by performing Completeness, Accuracy, Timeliness (CAT) testing of reporting; direct control and other various form of testing across all in scope reports ensuring aligns to prescribed standards.

• Work with the central Quality Assurance team, based in Poland, to ensure that all appropriate Quality Assurance controls are performed to detect issues in reporting and associated controls. Ensure all identified issues are investigated and effectively managed.

• Prepare and present QA material for the various Transaction Reporting Governance forums, including two monthly Operating Committees.

• Understand the risks associated with transaction reporting. Be vigilant to those risks, manage them and challenge/escalate effectively.

• Coordinating and managing changes impacting APAC Quality Assurance team including significant changes such as the upcoming APAC Regulatory Rewrites. This will require co-ordination and working with the various QA teams in Poland and Singapore and also automation teams supporting QA controls.

• Review existing processes for improvements, control enhancements and automation opportunities.

• Represent the APAC RTR QA function to support the APAC RTR Governance and QA lead.

Your team

You will be joining the Regulatory Transaction Reporting (RTR) team within the APAC Investment Banking Operations division based in Singapore. The team supports the APAC region in ensuring TR regulation within the region is understood and adhered to. The Singapore RTR function’s remit is to ensure that we meet all APAC transaction reporting obligations, implement proper governance, supervision, and change management across all APAC locations where there are transactional reporting obligations and ensuring quality assurance on post reporting and procedural controls.

Your expertise

• Knowledge of Transaction Reporting regulations in the APAC region preferred.

• Strong risk management skillset along with attention to detail.

• Good people management experience required.
