We have a position for a Final Quality Inspection Lead to join our client, an engineering manufacturer in Leeds. In this full-time, permanent role, you will coordinate and manage all final inspection processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in upholding our commitment to excellence.
In this role, you will ensure that pump equipment is complete and in appropriate condition to pass inspection. You will book and coordinate internal final inspections, liaise with client inspectors to meet project requirements, and provide regular status updates to the business, highlighting any outstanding actions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quality inspection, ideally within heavy engineering. A strong understanding of inspection techniques and quality control processes is essential, with a background in pump rotating equipment being highly desirable. You will also possess excellent organisational and time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is required.
