• Cultivate and maintain relationships with other organizational units within Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) including other national centers, and offices within the CDC Office of the Director, CDC Washington, Field Marketing Organization (FMO)/Leg, and others; other Federal agencies and quasi-governmental groups such as the CDC Foundation; and other key partners including national and international organizations

As a Supervisory Computer Scientist, you will:

• Provide leadership and direction to the development, implementation and maintenance of integrated information technology hardware and software systems to support the collection, processing, reduction, storage, retrieval, presentation and publication of data for the National Health Care Surveys.
• Define information processing objectives, and oversee the development of information processing logic and documentation, including decision tables, processing flow charts and data edit specifications, record and tape layouts and the content and sequence of data files.
• Serve as senior technical advisor to the Division Director, management and other staff members in matters relating to data processing, computer usage, programming languages, and statistical software related to organizational data.
