Key Responsibilities

Precision in Stock Handling: Guarantee that all stock is accurately picked, prepared, and dispatched for shows, utilizing Clarity pick lists to maintain flawless inventory management.

Harness Technology for Inventory Control: Leverage Clarity to expertly manage stock levels, ensuring all inventory requirements are met without delays.

Seamless Material Flow: Take charge of loading and unloading materials, regardless of their assigned section, ensuring smooth movement of goods across the warehouse.

Meet Critical Deadlines: Ensure all stock is dispatched, returned, and replenished within specified deadlines to maintain smooth workflow and inventory availability.

Random Stock Audits: Perform random stock checks as directed by Warehouse and Stock Control Managers, helping maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

You will be working for a globally recognised facilities management business with a footprint in over 100 countries globally. Working within the fleet division, you will help to manage an annual, spending portfolio in excess of £200m p/a.
Your new role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with the Head of Fleet and Capex Procurement on a day-to-day basis to manage the departments UK spend. You will lead e2e procurement activities from market research and early engagement through to contract signature and ongoing supplier management. • Upskilled to use LLOP/PPT trucks (training will be provided after around 4 weeks due to health and safety reasons on site)
• Reallocation of stock
• Stock replenishment
• Loading and unloading containers
• Complete general Warehouse duties as required picking/packing
• Full training will be provided

Role of a Warehouse Stock controller:

• Control and manage any stock discrepancies
• Follow company policy and procedure
• Checking goods in and finished goods out of the Warehouse, ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly completed
• Ensure finished products are checked and are booked on system
• Ensure that all stock is moved assigned correctly by using the WMS system
• Provide accurate accounting and attention to detail to ensure finished goods and lines of orders to be shipped are 100% correct
• Ensure that any issues are Highlighted to the Warehouse management team
• Using the warehouse management system to accurately record all stock movements with the Warehouse this include handheld scanner and PCs
• Participate in regular PI counts/ad hoc stock checks helping to ensure stock accuracy
• Ensure that the pallet reconciliation spreadsheet is up to date and accurate.

Your new company
You will be working for one of Europe's largest food producers and exporters with projects across Europe and Africa. This business manages farmland right across the globe, producing food sold in retail stores across Europe.
Your new role
As the Purchasing Manager, you will be working with a colleague to ensure the correct quantities of goods and services are procured to allow efficient operation of farms across Africa (Senegal, Ghana and Algeria). This will include seeds, grains, fertiliser, machinery and disposable equipment. You will be responsible for a portfolio valued in excess of £100m p/a across the 3 countries. You will be responsible for the e2e procurement process, from supplier research, right through to ongoing supplier management post signature. You will work closely with the wider business to centralise purchasing operations across the 3 countries.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fluent Italian and English speaker with the ability to conduct all day-to-day activities in either language. Previous experience working within an international farming/agricultural business is vital to allow you to hit the ground running in this role. Experience managing suppliers in African nations would be highly advantageous. You will need to have excellent commercial acumen with an ability to educate internal stakeholders on the value of procurement functions. You should be able to commute to the office in Central London 5 days a week for the first 3-6 months as the team embeds and develops in London.
What you'll get in return
You will be entitled to a base salary of up to £80,000 p/a, alongside 26 days of annual leave (increasing to 28 with service), and an enhanced pension scheme.
