Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Inventory Management and Control: Responsible for the management and control of an assigned class of expendable material; serves as the point of contact for the coordination of material support and resolution of logistic problems; conducts forecasting and quantitative analysis; conducts spot checks; and complies with special requirements for firearms, ammunition and sensitive equipment
• Returns, Recalls, and Reutilization: Implements federal and agency programs for the return and reutilization of medical supplies; coordinates disposal of surplus or excess supplies; makes emergent procurement decisions; and participates in root cause analysis process
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Functions as a Warehouse Worker Foreman, responsible for work on a rotational basis, that includes the warehouse, commissary and clothing issue/laundry operations at a Federal Bureau of Prisons’ facility.

Supervises inmate workers who are responsible for receiving, storing, shipment, and issue of a wide variety of supplies, materials, equipment and commodities required in the operation of the facility, as well as, the issuance of inmate clothing and laundering of items for inmates and institutional operations such as Health Services or Food Service.

Responsible for the inventory control of materials for the institution which consists of receipt, cataloging, stocking, and issuing of all incoming materials from outside sources.

Maintains adequate shipping and receiving documents and inventory documentation, using both manual procedures and automated data processing systems, so as to maintain a system of perpetual inventory accountability for all items that pass through or remain under incumbent’s control.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff's correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Manages the lifecycle of none-expendable assets in the HCC.
• Conducts short, mid and long-term advanced planning for new and replacement NX assets, utilizing enterprise-wide computerized planning tools.
• Analyzes data to include projected lifecycle, down time, repair rates, lost workload, cost, depreciation, trade-in value and other factors which impact procurement decisions.
• Conducts data/information analysis for acquisition planning associated with materials and/or capital equipment.
• Assists customers in the creation of Performance Work Statements for equipment procurement.
• Conducts market research on product pricing and performance. Identifies equipment items that offer the greatest potential for standardization.
• Reviews and reports back to Fiscal on listings of delinquent payments and receipts of equipment purchase orders
• Coordinates final disposition of NX assets, including the reutilization program; organizes requirements of hazardous materials disposal, IT sanitization control; and appropriate shipment and transfer method.
• Resolves inventory problems requiring extensive and exhaustive research of receipts, issues, surveys, and other available sources.
• Supports other elements of the organization and performs other duties as assigned.

What To Expect

• Leads a productive, efficient and effective operational shift within a Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) store. Supervises the productivity of all teams throughout an operational shift. Partners with Operations Manager and Store Manager to scope, plan and lead general merchandising strategy, brand integrity and service levels throughout the store operation. Ensures proper scheduling, staffing coverage and training of team members. 
• Monitors MCX logistics and backroom processes in the absence of an Operations Manager and Backroom Manager ensuring effective operations while developing store-level accountability and process management. Ensures the successful execution of corporate service programs, promotions and other events as well as daily and weekly Dress Blue Experience standards at all customer touchpoints. Leads a team-centric environment. 
• Consistently champions, communicates and represents the MCX brand standards. Communicates effectively with other teams to address deficiencies with brand standards while providing education, coaching and positive reinforcement to all store team members. Identifies and reduces all risks of loss and/or theft. Actively engages in organizational training opportunities that develop personal and professional skills related to: time management, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, career planning, public speaking and small group leadership. 
• Supervises employees to include: assigning and distributing work, scheduling, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave; recommending and completing personnel actions; completing performance reviews and signing timecards; training employees. Must be alert to alcohol abuse, and take appropriate action. Assists in developing and ensuring the implementation and control of an adequate, effective and appropriate training plan for all personnel.
• Has keyholder responsibility: opening and closing stores and receiving products. May require food handling safety training, handling and certification. May require training and handling of Western Union and other customer services offered. May require light custodial duties, light lifting of merchandise, stocking, setting planograms, price changes, inventory counts and corrections.

We are looking for a Assistant Store Manager to join Team OB in our Richmond store.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work alongside your Store Manager to enhance sales and motivate your team. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will bring enthusiasm, positivity, and joy to the store by inspiring your customers and colleagues and maximising sales.

This will be a flexible contract, meaning you will have a fixed number of hours you will work per week across a variety of days and shifts. Your rota will be communicated to you in advance by your line manager, and we are open to having conversations about working flexibly.
