Roles and Responsibilities
1. Handle daily procurement operation tasks.
2. Manage and track Purchase Requisition and/or Purchase Order to make sure the procurement for projects is delivered on time.
3. Maintain and update list of approved suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.
4. Work closely and keep relevant stakeholders informed on the latest progress/status of delivery within expected timelines.
5. Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
6. Participate in implementation of cost efficient and effective purchasing strategies.
7. Ensure and promote compliance in accordance to company policies, processes and procedures.
8. Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
9. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Procurement Manager.
Requirements
· 1 - 5 years of experience in purchasing role, preferably in M&E / Construction / Marine /Facilities Management Industry.
· Proficient in MS Office.
· Knowledge in ERP software is an added advantage.
· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to work independently and as a team player.
· Effective time and stress management under fast pace environment.
