Key Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload pallets of goods using a forklift, ensuring proper handling and storage.

About you

• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations is essential; familiarity with racked and bulk-stacked warehouses is highly desirable.
• Forklift Driving: Must have forklift driving experience; a valid Counterbalance or Pivot Steer license is preferred but not essential.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is critical, as checking inventory accuracy is a major part of this role.
• Physical Fitness: This position is physically demanding; candidates should possess a degree of fitness to handle the requirements of the role.

In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships to source properties, and procure long term contracts, utilising your strong communication skills. Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

More detail about the role An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Project Search graduate to join the inpatient Therapy service at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Exeter (Eastern). The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Therapy clinical staff to carry out non-clinical tasks relating to equipment storage, refurbishment and delivery to inpatient areas across the acute Hospital setting. The post holder will demonstrate an awareness of the different types of equipment used by clinical staff, the administrative requirements of issuing equipment to patients and possess knowledge of the geography of the hospital wards to enable efficient delivery of equipment when requested. The Job

• You will be required to lead, motivate and inspire a small team of 7 drivers and 6 order pickers.
• Ensuring our customers receive their building materials on-time, in full and safely.
• Ensuring all in house vehicles comply with all legal and contractual requirements
• Ensure effective and economic delivery routing
• Keyholding and Duty Management
• Our customers rightly demand a great delivery service. You'll need to be customer focussed, a team player who is able to work with others.
• You need to be resourceful and be able to think outside the box.
