· Administrative Support - Serves as the first line of contact for medical staff and customers in regard to procured items; develops reports and spreadsheets, obtains, organizes, files and retrieves reports for briefing and presentation purposes; performs a variety of receptionist, timekeeping, record keeping and miscellaneous duties in medical facility.

Based on the outskirts of Strathaven, our client is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm. Once training has been completed, hybrid working can be utilised, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home offered. Your new role
Reporting to the Manager, the Purchase Ledger Assistant will work as part of a team of 6 (& as part of a wider finance function) and undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; matching, batching and coding of invoices, reconciliations, liaising with suppliers & internal colleagues, data entry, inbox management, handling queries, setting up new supplier accounts and general associated finance administration. The IT system used is Navision.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of purchase ledger is ideal. Training can be provided in areas in which you are less experienced. You will be a team player who can also work well from their own initiative. You must have excellent communicative ability as you will work with a range of suppliers, clients and colleagues on a daily basis and correspond with them via telephone, email and face to face.
