As Assistant Store Manager we are looking for a well-rounded and commercial ‘retail manager’ who is proactive in their approach and can work using their own initiative, fashion retail experience is desirable but however not essential as full training is provided. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in either management or supervision of personnel within a retail outlet.

As Assistant Store Manager you will be expected to:

- Drive sales through your team

- Manage the day to day operation of the store whilst ensuring costs are contained within targets

- Maximise store profitability by promoting sales within the store

- Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times

- Manage, coach and motivate the team to deliver to all targets and lead by example

The ideal candidate will have:

- Commercial awareness

- Good training and development capabilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee the store management team and oversee all employee activity.
- Ensure that sales, service, and quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory control and procurement.
- Ensure that staff are properly trained and are meeting company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Train new and current employees on how to properly handle customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and inviting environment for customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Operations Manager.

About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader within our Birmingham Distribution Centre.

You will act as a link between the supervisors and warehouse staff providing immediate hands on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.

Your main responsibilities will include coordinating, prioritising and delegating warehouse activities in order to ensure that depot service level requirements are met at all time, effective management and control of productivity within the warehouse team, to ensure the achievement of contractual and internal KPI’s are met and control all aspects of staff operations within the depot to ensure all duties are carried out as required and encourage high standards of work from each employee.

The position

• This full-time permanent position, you will be responsible for driving around the region based in and around the Midlands to complete audits on deliveries.
• Rate of pay: £22,912 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus 30 min unpaid break
• Shift patterns 5 days out of 7 days, shifts between 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
• Working Environment: Mixed
• Full Driving License and access to your own transport is essential

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Job specifics
