Job Description

As an Assistant Merchandise and Inventory Manager, you’ll wear many hats – you’ll be a mentor, your team’s biggest fan, as well as a driver of business.

• Be all about the team, partnering with the department manager to recruit, hire and train, as well as develop and motivate your employees.

We’re looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team!

The Shift Supervisor will supervise warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company policies as well as state and federal laws.  Communicate with customers, supervisors, or other personnel to exchange information or resolve problems.

Responsibilities include:

• Assign associates to designated areas to meet inbound productivity demands
• Supervise associates to ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal laws
• Collaborate with management to evaluate associate performance and coordinate training as necessary
• Oversee warehouse associates to ensure inbound process is adhered to and efficient
• Communicate attendance issues and policy violations with Inbound Operations Manager
• Facilitate pre-shift safety brief and performance stretching/warm-up exercises
• Liaison between warehouse associates and Dock Manager
• Resolve workplace disputes
• Work closely with Inbound managers to coordinate shipment details
• Effectively communicate with fellow associates, host management, carriers, vendors and FHI leadership

*Please note this is not a travel position, and you should live local to the site.

Planning

• Solid planning skills with ladders and open-to-buy experience; run, maintain and project ladders
• Analyze the business and react with timely orders, reorders and cancellations

• Perform store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room.
• Ensure compliance with all the Five Below Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Review all corporate communications and prioritizes/plans accordingly. 
• Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work and adhere to company handbook and policies as well as local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including services.

You Will Contribute By:

• Assist leads and manager/supervisor with Building, HVAC, and Electrical systems including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting, and repairs (Compressors, fans, heating systems, cooling systems, contractors, motors, microprocessors, frequency drives, ventilation systems, lighting, power, etc.).
• Candidate will work closely with Operations (Warehouse, Safety, Security, Human Resources, etc.) to achieve common goals.
• Conducting preventive maintenance (P.M.'s) within established timelines (Oil analysis, filter changes, calibration of sensors and transducers, compressor checks/adjustments, re-lamping, belt changes, etc.), leak detection, conducting required inspections and reporting, evaluating and implementing energy management strategies, ensure product integrity is maintained through building systems temperature control, evaluating and reporting equipment condition, clean and concise communication with Management, etc.
• Responsible for logging time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) on a daily basis in the form of work orders, P.M.s, etc. Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent information regarding building infrastructure, systems operation and maintenance to departmental management and maintenance teams. Responsible for housekeeping and cleaning up all maintenance areas, rooms, and all project areas daily.
• Required to interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, etc. for systems being overseen.
• Assist leads in developing standard operating procedures, daily work schedules, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance for building, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Assist leads in managing the outside building, mechanical/HVAC, and electrical contractors conducting service, repair, and new contract work. Assist leads in the creation of budgets for individual projects, yearly capital, and yearly operating expenses.
• Assist the MHE, and battery technicians. Duties will include assisting in MHE repairs, battery charger repairs, battery changes for MHE, repair of plugs and tips of batteries and chargers, watering batteries, acid spill clean up, battery rack cleaning, battery area sweeping and cleaning, and other general maintenance activities.

Based at our Plymouth facility, located in Conshohocken, PA, the Storekeeper is a multi-task position involving inventory/storeroom related activities.

Position Responsibilities:

· Receiving all incoming materials and reconciling with purchase orders as well as tracking, documenting, and seeking to resolve any discrepancies on orders received

· Maintaining and updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns to ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system

· Ensuring that inventory parts are within established minimum and maximum levels

· Assisting as needed with supplier relations and strengthening the supplier database while maintaining and assuring high ethical relationships both internally and externally

· Assisting with low value procurement activities through the creation of purchase orders and the use of a purchasing card

· Ensuring that procured materials and services are requisitioned properly and that materials and services received meet all aspects of quality, safety, timeliness, and best value to the company

· Being responsible for shipping and receiving at the facility, which may require placing parts/equipment in designed locations within the warehouse

· Shipping canceled and/or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate

· Maintaining the warehouse and records area in a neat and orderly manner

Position Requirements:

· High School Diploma/GED

· Valid Drivers License

· 1-3 years of related experience, prior experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.

· Experience managing inventory in an industrial environment is preferred.

· Power plant experience and mechanical or materials management background, preferred

· The ability to operate the plant’s mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, light trucks) in a safe manner and in accordance with standard operating policies and procedures

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Customer service oriented, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond to facility upset conditions and provide support as needed

Physical Demand of the Role:

· Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb

· Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

· Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
