The Procurement team provide professional procurement expertise, advice and services across the organisation ensuring value for money is achieved, whilst fundamentally supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Key Duties To engage with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide a high-quality service. To provide guidance, advice and support to clinical leads, matrons, ward managers and other staff in relation to clinical procurement issues, supporting improvements in clinical practice, raising standards of care as well as the delivery of value in the goods and services the hospital purchases. Support specific clinical product evaluation projects considering existing local and national guidelines and best practice involving product users at every stage to support definition of clinical criteria and evaluation strategy. Promote awareness and understanding within the London Clinic of the function and usage of products within the supply chain teams, increase understanding of clinical concerns and issues and the positive impact of effective clinical procurement strategies on the quality of patient care. Support the Supply Chain team to identify, source suitable alternatives and direct replacements in response of vendor stock outs and discontinuation.
