The Role
As a Contract Procurement Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of work packages from inception through to contract closure.

Day-to-day, you'll manage contract deliverables, supplier progress and performance to ensure effective delivery of contracted requirements.
* Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most cost-effective supply solutions, contractual risk is minimised and bargaining power across the projects and site is maximised.
* Direct, influence and manage all subcontract activities ensuring delivery to schedule and maximise cost saving opportunities whilst minimising risk to safety and quality.
* Managing contract risks and change, and implementing effective mitigations to meet project cost, schedule and quality requirements.

This role is full time and based onsite at our Rosyth site, near Dunfermline with hybrid working arrangements.

Experience Required of the Contract Procurement Manager
* Extensive experience in managing contract delivery in construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
* Advantageous to have a strong Engineering background and experience of complex engineering projects with EPC methodologies.

Qualifications for the Contract Procurement Manager
* Engineering Degree or equivalent through work experience
* Project Management or equivalent professional qualification

About the Role

Lakeland are currently recruiting now for a Store Manager for our new upcoming store in Cardiff Garden Centre, C73 2WJ.

* Store opening subject to contract

Permanent - 39 hours

As a Retail Store manager, you are accountable for the overall store operation. You will drive store sales and profitability and deliver high operational store standards through motivating and coaching your team. You will lead your team to deliver operational processes and customer service excellence, exceeding the expectations of our customers. You will lead by example and follow the Lakeland Essence, Values and Behaviours and you’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about our products, leading your team to sell them with devotion and flair.

About You

You will need

• Previous experience as a retail manager, with strong selling and customer service skills
• Experience of managing store profitability and KPIs
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• To be able to manage, organise and motivate team members on a day to day basis
• To be able to take ownership and make decisions
• The ability to comprehend and analyse sales figures
• Recruitment/interviewing experience
• Intermediate IT skills (e.g. word and excel)
• Previous experience of training others
• Existing knowledge of Lakeland and our products
• Experience of change management
• Experience in selling through service
• Team coaching skills

Role Responsibility

• You will have overall responsibility for the running of the store, focusing on customer experience, colleague development, and delivering commercial growth in line with our 5-year strategy.
• Putting the customer at the heart of everything we do you will develop a team of colleagues who live and breathe our customer promise and actively seek ways to delight our customers.
• You will coach, train and develop colleagues within your store harnessing their strengths and building on development areas.
• Be proactive in recruiting a team of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Assistants that reflect our values, behaviours with the required skill set to meet our business needs.
• Make commercial decisions around stock availability and merchandising.
• Actively seek contact with key stakeholders to gain a wider understanding of the business
• Providing constructive and beneficial feedback to the store team, District and Regional Managers around store performance and business opportunities to encourage continual growth.

• Have previous experience as a store manager within a retail environment working collaboratively with wider stakeholders across the business
